Smith has said multiple times he’s after inside opportunities. He won’t make our midfield better. It’s good as it is. Much bigger issues elsewhere on the ground.
Ward, Mackenzie and MacDonald all waiting for opportunities as well.
Essendon also probably don’t want to push there pick 8 out and miss out of player they are looking at.

Discounted powder from Jimmy B too don't forget, as well as the cheap land packages. The only way the cats trump us re- smith is the guaranteed high minutes in the midfield for basically rest of his career. İt won't be the money or the destination in this case. Pick 3/4 though , now that definitely will be in dogs sight.
B Smith still in play. A bit to play out here.

650 pages into a draft thread with nothing solid and every player available choosing other clubs, why do you find it hard to believe we won’t get Chol?I'm happy to go early crow on it. If its wrong, it's only Chol.

No chance. Dogs will want our first at the minimum.
Smith isn’t worth even a second rounder in my opinion. Dosen’t tackle and way too soft.
Essendon are wanting a first round pick for BZT . Let that sink in!!!!
He's worth a first. He's quality.
I'd just be worried Cats will tempt him with the usual beach bum parlour tricks nonsense. We need to throw our cash at him, as we have serious cash reserves to burn (with McKay out, we'd surely have to be close to cap base at this point).
Industry knows the cliff is coming. Equalization always has and always will catch up.
Feels like Geelong is more likely - and to be honest, it would make sense for Smith - but I hope we're doing everything in our power to get him. We'd have a premiership winning midfield with him in top form.

That is the death knell you are referring tonot jumping on any bazlenka to waverley trains until nashy seconds our interest
First to admit that I'm not sure I've ever seen him play, but his stats are pretty bad.Ralphsmith could still turn out to be a very handy player and would be cheap as chips.
Wrong North was interested and need a CHFNo - Richmond will just get him to put a front loaded price on his contract to get him. Also Norf have Larkey so have little need for Kosi. The PSD is a meaningless threat. It’ll get done for a reasonable price in the trade period.
Wing - he is lightning quick and tigers used him as a sub a lot for a 4th rounder would take the punt.First to admit that I'm not sure I've ever seen him play, but his stats are pretty bad.
Where would we play him & how could we make him good?
Could play Small/Pressure Forward or he's not that kinda player?Wing - he is lightning quick and tigers used him as a sub a lot for a 4th rounder would take the punt.
