How many picks will get used/burned in Bids/Academy picks? Particularly by Suns, Dogs, etc.

Just trying to work out whether if we get a Pick 48 from Port in the Esava deal assuming we send them 85 or a F4 or something, what P48 will be on the night? And whether that could land us Haste on the night. A bit of outside speed with a late pick.

Yes but every list spot you fill with a person who has proven to not be AFL standard it’s an opportunity cost

Look at the number of quality players picked as rookies or late picks

Give new guys a chance to prove themselves
