Where do you get that information? Footywire are infamous for getting their RFA/UFA status wrong.

There's not a snowball's chance in Hell that he's in our top 25% of earners, and thus is not an RFA.

Given that we used our two second-round picks to actually get pick 14 and grease the wheels of this trade, I figured it was worth going back and looking at the trades we used to get those picks in the first place.

As a whole, we gave up:

That's a whole lot of talent in for two first rounders, three second rounders and some junk picks!

He only turned 19 2 months ago too. Late birthday. 5 months older than Curtin for example.

Is Oscar Ryan a similar type of player to Bond? Are they both fighting for the same role or are they different type of players?

With Curtin , Edwards and Dowling we have some tall versatile talent for the window that is being prized open .

Don't know obviously, but I get the feeling we would have liked to take Goad second, and then Edwards or DeMattia with third pick. Just didn't quite fall, and North knew the plan.

We absolutely wanted Goad with our 2nd pick, know that for absolute certain through a couple of contacts. However, they did warn him that North were also quite keen at the pick immediately before us.

Only Hamill & Borlase, unless we reneg on our commitment to Borlase (given that he's not contracted for 2024).

I still trust Twomey. Looking forward to us getting Goad tomorrow at 31 where he was mocked.

Shows how little he knows about players outside of Vic, never take his phantoms too seriously. Goad was never going past Adelaide or North in the first round and if he had contacts in SA could have found that out fairly easily.
