I did travel plenty. My family was and still is prominent in Darwin and NT history.
I could rattle off a bunch of names that were used all the time by those generations though while never hearing the one you claim was common yet never heard by them.
We know what those names are, the ones that were actually commonly said.
Well they were heard by me and on a daily basis. I don’t claim it was common, I know it was common. I can tell you from first hand experience it was used all the time. The C word, the B word and the N word were common place. With all due respect your relatives are wrong.
