we seems to like playing in Sydney (sometimes)
Rough fixturing once again.

We’ll be travelling off a 6 day break (playing Gold Coast at home on the Sunday before).

Swans will have a 7 day break with no travel (playing GWS the Saturday before).

At least it’s an afternoon game so there’s the option to return on Saturday night prior to the home game against Richmond the following week (Saturday).

We've been kissed if GC lose on top of GWS losing today. Also the WB loss, I want them as far away from us as possible.

Staying 6th during the bye would be nice and unexpected.
We'll actually go to 7th unless Collingwood and Melbourne manage to draw as one of them will go to 32 points, but I expected to be out of the 8th at the end of this round and we're guaranteed to stay in now, even if Gold Coast win.

Oh I forgot about that game, although we'll have a game in hand over whoever wins that.

that Gather Round crucified us
Honestly I view it the other way. A checkpoint of sorts and ultimately good for us. You could argue we took a lot out of those close games, learnt from them and took the next step (running down Collingwood).

I think there’s a very good chance that we might all look back in a few years and say that that last quarter of the Collingwood game was where our new era began, where the switch was flicked.

If there’s anything to be taken from what we’ve all seen in the first half of this year it’s the test of character, second best in tight games, Cam.

Yet through all that, we have somehow just gone BANG in the last 5 quarters of footy played, and Gather-Round played a role in that 👍🏻

Another result favouring us. At this point it'll be a Kings birthday draw. 😀
Other teams have so far done their part.
Hope Melbourne pulls theirselves together against Collingwood, Sydney win and I'm torn about Carlton/Essendon.

I meant the injustice of having to be stuck over there - we are now having another huge gap between games at Optus

From the rest of this round it would be good if Sydney and Essendon got up. Carlton and Geelong are in competition for our spot and Essendon will falter at some point.

Think I’d prefer Melbourne to win
