And if the roles were completely reversed on Saturday night posters would all be in here saying how great our tactics were.

Look, I get it, we all hate Port’s guts, but if you want to be angry, be angry at the club that allows itself to be completely manhandled like the Crows were on Saturday night.

Houston is going to pay the price, but everything other than that falls under the category of brilliant tactics by Port.

I’m f*cking jealous, not angry.
I particularly loved how we let Butters run around on his own. Surprised we didn't high 5 him each time he got the ball or give him a lolly pop at 1/2 time.

What would you like them to do? Get themselves suspended and miss the start of next season? I thought they flew the flag as much as they could.

It’s like some of you blokes started watching football about three months ago.

This is what good teams do.

If you want to complain about something, complain that the piss-weak club you support just stands there and cops it, and doesn’t employ any Machiavellian tactics of its own.
you can't do it now like when Riccuttio shirt fronted an eagles player some years back. The AFL will come down on any club who sanctions it by suspending their players if anything like Saturday nights incident takes place.

Seems there is a common narrative that he didn't hit him in the head. some angles it looks like he didn't but others it does.

Be interesting what tribunal finds and what medical evidence crows provide. They going to protect Houston or throw him under the bus?
Nice alias account opened today, how convenient.

Whats your Port username? You know our mods will find you.

In case you hadn't noticed, we were up until that incident, playing well above expectations. After that they all lost the plot trying to fly the bloody flag.

It doesn't matter, it's the outcome that results in what happens now not the supposed where he hit him. His actions tells the story.

When we did a single thing, it was free kick city.
Yet their tactics were green lighted, even a shirt front knocking a guy out.

The umpires treated us like we were the instigators of shit. It's like they enjoyed Port causing it, then being smart asses and our guys doing anything to react to ping us.

And we actually lost our way in the game when we did start worrying about going after them a bit.

Like your username, Port's Karma Bus will arrive in September, we just need to be patient.

You can’t do it anymore like Houston did, but you can certainly physically target a player and wear him down in other ways that won’t get you suspended.

But it has to be part of your team’s makeup, it requires careful planning and execution, and for that to happen the club has to value it as a practice.

Port value that stuff. Rankine was part of their plan. It wasn’t an accident.

It went too far in the end, and they’ll regret that, but the overall mentality is still correct.

If that was a Grand Final and we did that, and won the game as a result of it, would you be complaining?

That’s the mentality a team has to have to be successful.

Will it matter if the Tribunal decides he didn't hit his head? Still High contact and severe due to him hitting his head on the ground...?
Houston hit him in the head, there is zero doubt.

I don t know who started this bs, that he didnt hit in the head.

Sure the image below is blurred, the AFL will use far superior technology to clean the image up.

There's now talk of anyone sniping in a Grand Final doing such a dog act, should be sin binned or taken out of the game and not replaced. That's what it's coming down to.

Maybe, but it hasn’t yet!

And I’m not condoning sniping or dog acts, but everything Port did other than the bump was perfectly legitimate.

And in a GF if a bump like that is the difference between winning and losing, use the f*cking bump.
