When you inject cash into an economy that already has excessive cash, you lower that value of the currency. When you lower the value of your currency, demand outpaces supply (because people have excess cash) and then CPI goes up.

One thing the Republicans have going for them is that they absolutely know what they believe is right, and they're fixated on it. Will do anything to get there; play extraconstitutional games with supreme court nominees; fillibuster until the cows come home, leave and and embark on an 1000 year voyage guided by compassion; tighten voter registration laws in low socioeconomic counties to deliberately make it harder for poor people to vote democrat; redistrict like ****ing bonkers to allow them to lose the popular vote yet still win the election. They will do what it takes for them to win, and damn the ****ing torpedos.

The Democrats have talked bloody murder about Trump seeking to end American democracy. They've spoken about what he intends to do.

Well, if you truly think he is going to end democracy, the "peaceful transfer of power" isn't the right thing to do, is it?
