Our problem has been sorted but that Suns v Dons game is a problem for the 2 clubs and AFL.

I think they will have to play 3 games in 14/16 days
That is unfair no matter who gets the win.
Play the bye round before the finals. Not a great thing to do and likely unfair to someone at that stage of the year.
Either of these will result in the ladder being incorrect until they actually play.

If i was Dillon i would approach the clubs with a possible sharing of points. Similar to if a game was washed out.
At the same time give them an alternative game date so they can access if it is better to play 3 games or cut their losses and bank the 2 points.
Both clubs obviously will have to agree to the 2 points each.

Unbelievably so. Just seems so weak and amateurish. What did he actually say that amounted to anything ?

Just on the cyclone when Jasper ripped through PD in December '23 everyone was prepared and safe , it passed with very little damage. The next 3 days were horrendous with non stop pelting rain and flooding. Landslides everywhere.

So I'd just caution everyone to stay vigilant once the cyclone has passed and be aware that it's usually not the end.

Thoughts are with everyone and their families in the vicinity this week.
