Umpiring of 15m kicks are doing my head in.
OMG it's like shroedinger's 15 meters out there

It's both! It's neither!

And combined with that we seemed to have a whole slew of umpires who grew up with the imperial system or something

Are Melb, Carlton, WC and Richmond the percentage boosting easy beats this year? Haven't played any of them yet. Acknowledge the first two can potentially change what they're doing a bit. Question is will they?

A few players well off their best (Dawson, Crouch, Sholl, Milera), but good to see some others step up (Peatling, Worrell, Curtin). I was surprised that Borlase was selected ahead of Butts, but he was pretty solid. Still think I'd rather Butts, but I haven't seen our 2's play so don't know what kind of form he's in.

Some pretty ordinary disposal when under little or no pressure. Got away with it, but we wouldn't want to do that again next week.

Truly baffling umpiring throughout.

I am criticised as a ROB hater by my family.

Was at the game today and there was no way he was one of our worst.

Over the course of the game i reckon he had the better of Xerri and that was immensely helpful for the result today.

I reserve the right to unfairly criticise him in future games.....
I’m in the same camp as you.

Not the prettiest of wins, but it was still a consistent 4 quarter performance.

Our defence was much tighter today, with North needing to resort to playing for free kicks for several goals.

Draper kicking his first 2 goals was sensational!

Walker with 4 (on a day I’d say wasn’t one of his best), Thilthorpe with 3. Another solid effort from our forwards.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan, but he was good enough today considering he was up against probably the best in the business right now.

Seems like a few North fans are upset I suggested they weren't really in the match and that the margin was flattering due to umpire gifted goals.

I'm sorry, but the holding the ball on Sholl directly after the umpires missed two identical calls on North players, and the instant 50m for being 1m over the mark on an 11m kick, were blatantly wrong and contributed 2 of North's 5 first half goals.

Adelaide controlled almost the entire match and North never really looked like taking the lead. We weren't playing well, but were doing more than enough to win. Absolutely dominated the turnover game, held up well in the contest and never gave any sort of extended period of momentum to them

Dead on I think…if you add in NWM into the mix then I think we go into bizarro “2017” next year..dont think we can match the Hawks, Brisbane or GWS atm..
It’s early days, but our scoring capacity currently is more similar to 2017 than 2016. The next couple of games will give us a better indicator.

We've flown in to $10 for the flag, now in the Top 4. I won't be putting money on us but that's in from $51 before Round 1 and $34 last week.

I wouldn't put any money on us until we beat teams projected to finish in the top 8.

Next 4 weeks will give us a really good look. Gold Coast (away), Geelong and GWS at home, then Fremantle away.

Our defense and stoppage will need some work to win all of those

The bad was mostly the friggin umpiring. [emoji33]

The good is that we no longer rely on anyone on a given day to kick big bags as it seems most of our mids/ forwards can all kick goals on any given day. 3 consecutive games over the 100 scores, it’s not something to scoff at. It’s a sign we’re becoming a well-drilled unit.

I haven’t been following the preseason much, but I’m very excited to see more of Curtin and Draper. Both look like real weapons in the coming years!

Crows have scored 410 points ytd - next closest 3 games played is the Saints on 305!
So we are averaging 35 points a game more than the next best offence (Suns are doing very well at prorata 384)

This!
I was there today. Keays seemed to be everywhere from well forward to their F50m arc.
I'm a well-known Keays fan (although often critical previously of his awful R-foot kicking) but jeez he has/ they've really found his niche in the side.
Don’t know if you’ve noticed this also, but I feel Keays’ kicking has actually improved quite a bit, particularly when kicking for goals. His decision making sometimes can trip up, but the kicking is of a fairly good standard now.

Ugly - Brian Taylor's obvious disdain of the Crows. And more importantly, our supporters.

Eat a big bag of doodles you campaigner.
The $25 Kayo fee to avoid BT.
