Posting this on two threads, is that against the rules?

I don't think you can read anything into anything re Crows beating Carlton. Every team has their bunny and for whatever reason Carlton are the Crow's bitch at Adelaide Oval.
Every Crow's player looked good on Saturday.
Fact is, Adelaide is yet to beat any team they were incapable of beating last year.
We've already failed against Geelong, Gold Coast and Fremantle. Are we better than Bulldogs, Collingwood, Brisbane, Sydney (we are Sydney's bunny) and being Port is a 50/50?
So far this year we have shown nothing more than what we achieved last year where we finished 15th.

It is all an illusion and distraction.

I know the draw is different, but after Round 8 last year we were 13th on W-L 3-5 and 101.81%.
2025: 5-3 and 131.8%. Nothing illusory about those numbers.

I prefer the latter but we won't know what we've 'achieved' until after the end of the Minor Round .

Are Port the only club to not fill the top back panel with a sponsor?

Noticed the Bulldogs it was blank.

Would have thought with business mastermind Kochie is, they would have sponsors queuing up to to take GFG spot.


Kochie won't even give the club any "Compare the Market" coin....

Rubbish. When he came back after the long layoff he was far better than any of us thought he'd be and deserved to maintain his spot. He’s been struggling with this hip since the pre-season. They should have tried to get it right.

Why wouldn’t we have given Rach more given his good work in there?

Berry the fresh man comes in and finishes the game off, Soligo has looked a little banged up in the last 2 weeks so give him a spell, and Rachele.... well he's a forward/mid.

Played well when he was in there, but he's also our most damaging small forward

I get all that, but if you’ve gone in with a batch of CBA and performed well, wouldn’t it make sense to get some more?

Hopefully it's a sign of things to come, maybe 1 or 2 more this week, and so on.

It's probably the best bit about Crouch missing, the load with plenty spread amongst more players

But what we replaced it with was also still working? I mean, you'd have a point if what we replaced him with didn't work… but thats not the case here. You wouldn’t be looking for things to complain about on purpose, would you? I suppose it’s a bit hard to find something to be negative about after a ten goal win eh? Rest assured, George will find it though!

lol, have a look at the clearance number for the players who attended CBAs, he had the highest win rate.

He did pretty damn well during 2023 in the middle as well. Doesn't seem like there is much reason to Nicks strategy.

The secret is knowing when to remove them before they burn out but to keep the fire stoked

I look at a game in a similar vain, it’s not being negative it’s where I think things could be done better

I think he immediately went inside 50 and kicked a great snap goal.

Who knows what the plan is, or if there is one. Was nice to see him get a run in there on the weekend though.

Its part of my makeup that I want us to be better

I'm not as hyper critical as some but if I see an issue I will say so.

The game was a good win and I can see the green shoots but I also know Nicks wont be able to help himself and ignore this result and get the band back together

If people cant see the difference between night and day - Crouch in v Crouch out - then they shouldnt be coaching at Ammo level
