Every CBA ROB ran straight into TDK and took his run and leap out of the contest.

I can't believe TDK let him do it all game without changing it up.

Their midfield will generate enough opportunities to win the game. We will need to deliver into the forward 50 a lot better than yesterday to generate the same number.

I think our defenders can more than cover their forward line on paper, they would need to completely obliterate us in the midfield to win the game and I don't think the gap between the respective midfields is that big now. We have better rotation capabilities than them now.

That was a neat performance, and one where we felt like we were in control for most of the game. We did have a 10 minute period that could have easily snowballed into a loss in the third quarter, where that panicked sloppy football crept into our game, but Carlton didn't punish us.

Dawson was BOG.
Rankine put in a big shift, and seemed to have the balance right between an inside mid and dangerous forward this week.
Rachele breakout year continues.
Michaelanny played his best game in Adelaide colours. Might be on breakout watch because if he can find the consistency in his offensive game, he'll quickly be recognized as one of the premier defenders.
Worrell is really building into a nice season.
Curtin is going to be a star. Just some of the one-handed pickups, contested marking and ball use was sublime.
Really strong performance from Taylor, and one he probably needed to keep the wolves at bay.
Our smalls cut Carlton up.
Milera best game since injury.
If that's Smith's last game - and it could be seeing I have him out for Hinge - it's a good way to end his career. Was a nice moment seeing everyone get around him when he kicked a goal in the dying moments of the game.
O'Brien took De Koning to the cleaners.
I felt the Nankervis sub was a tad harsh, seemed to be building into a good game into the first (especially as I'm happy for Nank to back in his evasive skills, so the running into trouble is something I'm willing to brush off) but faded out rather badly. Hopefully we have the sense to back Luke in next week.

All in all, done what we needed too and with a 5-3 record, it sets up a very important fortnight for our finals chances.

+10 on the centre clearances is huge too. Berry with 3 in his short time on was 2nd best for the game, but Dawson, Peatling and Rachele contributing nicely too.

The key was we played a deeper midfield again like we did earlier in the year.

Amazing how our midfielders run out games better with deeper rotations, including smart use of the sub.

Woz imo our most important defender.

Zac Taylor's game was pretty tidy.

Just need to give him some continuity.

He is class.
