Today I learned calling someone a racist moron isn't quite the same (but isn't far off) as making a racial slur.
Does it depend on the race of said victim? I'm about 15 different races according to ancestry.com so take offence to most things.

What did u say?

U racist

Seems a Decent enough bloke in the media, has been a champion for Adelaide but probably not consistently enough at the top echelon in league over his career to warrant being an AFL champion. I rate him though.

Two things that stick with me though are how hard he went in the media at Lever when he left for Melbourne which i thought was unnecessary and poor leadership, he was made to look pretty silly after it played out as well.
Second was the obvious lack of leadership in the Power stance and group camp era, seemed strange at the time and still now.

partly stitched up by the club with that, alongside a massive lack of diplomacy - Walker had taken a smaller contract to help keep the squad together - Lever was lowballed to an insulting degree by the club and acted accordingly

but yeah that saga doesn't look good for him, especially considering Lever has a flag and Walker doesn't

I don't get the power stance criticism. Firstly, what is wrong with doing a Power stance? Secondly, it undeniably worked. They introduced it because they were starting slowly in games. In all 3 finals they did it in, they started like a house on fire.

The camp is a different story but that's not on him, that's on the club. Walker was rightly IMO, furious that a player (Betts) was leaking to the media. I'm not defending the camp, but decent argument Walker did his best to try and keep the group focused and united, it's on Burton, Pyke and others to stop the camp from happening and be over player welfare.

But Betts may have a different take and maybe Walker messed up by not hearing Betts' views.

Tex reminds me a bit of Jack Darling. Not similar as players but in that because he's a bit of a meme people forget how good he actually is/was.

Interesting career trajectory. Was a 60 goal forward at 22, then the #1 forward in a Grand Finalist at 27, dropped off a little bit, had a poor covid season at 30 then came back with 3 great years and kicked 76 goals at 33. Even now his output isn't the same playing up the ground more and having two forwards in their early to mid 20s but his field kicking is phenomenal.

Probably in the top 10 forwards of this and the last decade, very good at his peak but not elite. The game has gone past him a bit, looks slow, should hang up the boots this year.

Really surprised he played yesterday in those conditions.
No doubt the Crows would have planned to rest him a few times throughout the year, and a wet day at the G seems like a perfect time to do it, before bringing him back against the Eagles next week.

Great player over the journey.
Lost his way a little bit after Phil Walsh passing but subsequently redefined himself.

Most goals of any Crows/Port player.
Genuine 2 sided player.
Intelligent footballer.
Exceptional kick in play or for goal.
Getting on but has worked well on his conditioning.
Still an important player for Adelaide.
Kind of reminds me of Carey. Both hated by the opposition due to behaviour, and both great at long goal kicking and fantastic with either foot in passing.
