In Berry's underage year for Gippsland Power in almost Arctic conditions rain, hail, sleet etc down in Morwell he was best on and laid a close to NAB League record 17 tackles. Wind and rain should be right up his alley.
If it was up to me I’d have kept Berry as the sub and started Draper

After all his sub appearances Draper might only end up playing 10 games worth of footy this year.
If we want him to be a full time midfielder we should trade him somewhere, let him develop and then trade him back in.

Happy that Draper is in, but I hate the sub rule. Just wreaks havoc on players trying to get a foot in the door, at all clubs.
Should be abolished. Most clubs want it gone. Go with 5 on the bench and have independent concussion doctors if you’re worried about clubs not taking those seriously.

We’ve been playing good footy at Adelaide Oval other than one quarter against the Cats. Hopefully the trend continues and we get some healthy percentage.

Geez, making this change so late must have caught the West Coast coaches out...
Michalanney and perhaps Thilthorpe aside, Nicks has never trusted them in preferred position.

Good to hear. Can't underestimate how relevant a school footy game from pre covid is to todays match!
Which is stupid. The McAsey issue was largely due to complex non-football issues / events, rather than the treatment.
Regardless, happy to hear Fischer is back playing footy. I hope he’s doing well.
