Rayner and Will look like the best two players on the ground, in what is virtually a top of the table clash.

Serious - does (41)Butts have a tendency to stop as if shot, or as if incredibly lazy.

Those last two efforts looked terrible, or as if he'd done a hammy.

Says the guy named DaicosDisciple lmfao
Nick Daicos is a premiership star with the most Brownlow votes per game of any player ever. I didn’t even need to fact check that before saying it because he’s so dominant.

Peter daicos goes without saying. He played footy like he was from the future.

Josh Daicos is a BNF winner all Australian premiership player too.

Which Daicos is overrated?

Garry Lyon "The closest umpire was unsighted"

No, Garry the closest umpire saw that Mitch Hinge felt a touch and then took a flying dive. It was the non-controlling umpire that decided to jump in a fall for the dive.

It happens so often, the controlling umpire has a good view and calls that there wasn't a free (often with a tackle that has been shrugged high) and the clown 50m away decides to get involved and calls what the controlling umpire has just dismissed.

these gameday threads always give me the mental image of some dissenting cowboy getting chucked through a window leaving a large hole in the front of a saloon

Why they force the umpires to be athletes is beyond me. Double the amount of umpires but keep them standing in the same spot.

When it comes to ruckmen who work hard around the ground, Riley O'Brien does not immediately come to mind ... although in a different time it did.
