Like who? Impey and Gunston won you the game tonight. Weddle is the obvious one under 25 and Moore is decent (although inconsistent) and in his prime.

Who else is there? Ward? MacDonald? Butler? These guys will not be the difference in a flag winning side
Moore inconsistent? He was AA last year ffs.

Hasn’t had a great start to this year (in part due to team structures) but still averaging 18 and a goal.

Weddle, Ward, Moore, Butler, MacDonald all strong contributors.

Weddle 23 disposals and plenty of run off half back, strong aerially. Turned the game in the third.

Watson had good moments despite a low disposal count. (5 score inv).

Ward solid game again after a good year, had 20 with 3 clearances 5 tackles and 4 inside 50s. Class and cleanliness in a scrappy game.

Butler 19 with 4 clearances 6 tackles and 4 inside 50s. Speed and dynamic mixup through the middle.

MacDonald had 14 disposals (10 contested) 2 goals 6 score inv and 8 tackles.

Moore 23 with 11 contested 13 tackles 5 inside 50s and 5 score inv.

Newcombe despite being tagged kicked the winning goal and had 15, 6 tackles, 5 inside 50s and a goal.

All 25 and under who played big parts in the win. Gunston and Impey the main two others.

I disagree that Fogarty is out of form. 28 goals and 5 behinds before this Hawks game says otherwise.

You can debate about Tilthorpes recent form. Even then, 28 goals and 16 behinds before this Hawks game says other wise
Fogarty has three goals in the last month including being held goalless in the last two. Thilthorpe has one goal in the last two matches.

If that's not delivering as a key forward, then I don't know what is.

Conditions haven't been easy for your last 2 games

Barrass completely blanketed Thilthorpe. Battle well covered Fogarty.
Weddle covered Ted easily and ran off him often.

Thilthorpe 1 mark 3 behinds
Fogarty 4 marks 1 behind 9 disposals
Tex 3 behinds 5 marks

Weddle had 23 6 marks 7 intercepts 683 metres gained 5 rebound and 4 inside 50s on Tex.

Battle had 15 6 intercepts 6 spoils and 5 rebounds playing on Fogarty.

Barrass 7 intercepts and 11 spoils on Thilthorpe.

Just beaten by good defense a lot of the time.

Your best players tonight

Gunston - 40 something?
Impey - 29
Moore - 25
Barrass - 29
Hardwick - 28
Weddle - 21

Your worst
Mitchell - 22
Ginnivan - 22
Watson - 20
Hustwaite - 20
Newcombe - 23
You're really struggling here dude.

Isn't that the players discretion? With no-one in the FWD line you can expect Fog to kick it 60 + whatever the ball bounces. You can't boot a ball away after a free-kick...

EDIT, Thilthorpe not Fog
Exactly, free was paid before siren and time wasn't stopped but it's a clear as day 100% 50m penalty with that free for Fogarty because Ginivan came running in and kicked the ball away whether intentional or not, it's 50m penalty and a shot at goal most likely inside the 50m arch. Bad unpiring again by #25

A pretty embarrassing result for the league to be honest. And the conditions shouldn’t be a factor, football has been played in Tassie day and night by locals for how long? And I can guarantee they aren’t on an average salary of $460,000 a year to dish up crap like that as entertainment.

One of the more overrated players in the game.

Hewett and Harley clear.

eagles will win a premiership before the hawks.
Laughable. Hewett is a pretty good talent but he’s not shown any reason that he’s “clear”. Harley will be great but he’s been horrible this year and runs on the board matters.

Who else is there? Archer Reid? Brockman? Ginbey?

Hawthorn have better youth, a better crop of prime aged players and better experience. It’s why they’re a young team contending and West Coast aren’t.

Rankine really has dropped off. Isn’t impacting the scoreboard enough if he’s supposedly a forward.
Isn’t getting involved enough if he’s supposedly a midfielder.

So what is he?
He's currently a midfielder who rotates forward. 23 disposals and 4 clearances last night aren't forwards numbers. Nor is a 22 disposal and 5 clearance average over the season.

Is Rankine starring or super damaging lately? Not particularly. But your carry on is completely over the top. Adelaide's midfield needs him and he's supporting the more traditional midfielders well enough. He's also still averaging around a goal and a goal assist per game.

I think this might be a SuperCoach or Fantasy vent, that’s the only thing I can think of. Adelaide are stacked in the midfield, of course he’s not going to be a permanent mid every week. He’s playing his role well.

Hawthorn still have Sicily, Day, Lewis and Scrimshaw to return to the side.

Beaten 2 top 8 teams in the last 2 weeks, haven’t played their best footy, and still 9-5 sitting 5th.

Fml
Lol, Sicily.

Sicily being dropped is why you've had a chance to win the last 2 games as your defence actually defends now.
Since GR, with him in the team, you beat no one of significance.
