I think most would agree we have a lot less issues than nearly all
A dysfunctional forward line, a shaky backline and a coach who is currently using Ross Lyons game plan. Danger has been a great player, and I’ve loved watching him but he needs to hold a press conference tomorrow and call it, enjoy the rest of the year off and rest up.

just seemed un-necessary doing a bump like that late in the match , playing it like gridiron or something, that was a chance of causing real damage. he wouldn't want to see the Sun's doing that to his mid-fielders.

Especially since Stewart had played well at the back all night for Geelong and they had built the winning lead.

anyway thank the Lord, Anderson has got up and is wandering around (on the sidelines)

I forgot to add earlier, Poppy was better ;)

First and foremost, good to see Noah looking fine walking the boundary and disappointed that he was being shelved.

There was like eight minutes to go and (from memory) 20-odd points in it... you don't drop the intensity with the game poised like that. Geelong had all the momentum, one more goal just about seals it, dribbling ball just around the 50m line... you go full force and crunch the opponent.

It's a football play, maybe there's something in what you're saying if there was like 20 seconds left.

Geez people actually want to sook about Stewart bump. 100% legal and actually good to see. People have gone soft.
In a close game maybe it might be good to see.
But this match was won and players were winding down. Lets just smash someone to finish it off. yeah good to see. for some I spose that don't care about player welfare.

Great win, tough ,gritty and smart! Well done to the defence SDK,Stewart,COS and Henry. Atkins set the tone again tough as nails and Holmes, Stengle and Miers had excellent games. Any one complaining about Stewart’s hit can find a new sport quickly.

Gold Coast fascinated me how they allowed a loose defender the whole game it allowed us to peel off and use Humphries, Miers, Duncan and Holmes who have great foot skills. I think that is the one area that Gold Coast don’t match up with other teams, they don’t have any elite users of the football other than Anderson and sometimes Rioli.

He ran to the player with the ball. It went past him he pulled up and bump,

Best thing out of today is Stengle and Stewart getting back to their best form.

Basically got nothing out of Dangerfield or Cameron all game, Neale off early....yet pretty much everyone else had a solid game at worst.

Like one of those Under 10s footy games where the coach gives best players to "Team Effort"

so many space cadets in this thread saying a legal bump is a 'dog act'. he flattened the bloke like a pancake it was beautiful
It was a bloody ripper

Single-handedly broke the physics "equal and opposite force" rule that has stood for centuries

Old mate Anderson might not feel the full extent of that for a few days
