Most people in Gaza have never voted in an election.

You already know this Zev.

Given these statistics it's safe to infer the same of the USA

However, the reason for my question was not for determining voter participation or turnout just wondering if Not Important applies the same set of standards to everyone who participates in elections.

Do you hold all people who voted for them responsible for an elected Government's actions?

"The bigger problem for Washington is that the enriched uranium wasn’t there. The IAEA confirmed that Iran had already removed personnel and key materials, including enriched uranium, days before the strike"

sadly, it remains the case that too many yanks swallow what a lying creep with not one redeeming feature says.

your mob supported hamas.

Three different standards you have clearly demonstrated.

The Gazans' who voted for Hamas have no responsibility for their actions.

The US citizens who voted for Trump are responsible for his actions.

Israeli's who didn't vote for Netanyahu are responsible ''your mob'' for his actions and support Hamas....

Unless you were referring to another protected attribute of mine?

as usual you are all over the place. you make a statement, get eviscerated, then move to whataboutism combined with misdirection. i'm familiar with talking points from the propaganda front for the terrorist state of israel, the aijac, and you employ them all the time.

1. i have repeatedly condemned the october 7 attack by hamas. it was horrific and played into the hands of the zionists, who are on the record for wanting to take control of gaza. israel's response under the guise of self-defence was disproportionate to a degree not seen in recent history. against a largely defenceless opponent. it is heartless, cowardly genocide. 60,000 palestinians have been brutally maimed or murdered, with a total of about 350,000 missing, according to a report i posted elsewhere.

2. as i have written many times, america has long been a captive of israel. nethanyahu has said as much as have other zionists. it's not only the present imbecilic incumbent. successive american administrations have poured trillions into israel's economy, both in weaponry and other aid. without it israel could not be the power or bully it is today. and yes those who have supported those policies with their vote do carry responsibility for not only the genocide but for decades of occupation, oppression, illegal annexation, incitement, racist policies, and violation of basic human rights. i wonder whether that might have something to do with there being a plo and now hamas.

3.further, whether they voted for the corrupt leader or not, those who don't speak out, or, worse, defend the genocide perpetrated by him and his acolytes, have blood on their hands. there was report in the middle east eye recently in which the first paragraph read "an overwhelming number of israelis, including secular, back the forced transfer of palestinains from gaza and israel"

on the matter of iran. it isn't iran that has attacked half a dozen middle east states. it isn't iran that refuses to join the nuclear nonproliferation treaty. it isn't iran that refuses to allow inspection by the international atomic energy agency,

i don't engage with you bc, fundamentally, you are an apologist for israel's genocide.

I asked a simple, fair and balanced question. You couldn't answer it because it will expose you for the hypocritical racist that you are. Cue your key words of murder, genocide, occupation, terrorism and zionism.

hypocritical racist? you schlemiel. on countless occasions i've shown my support for the jewish people. those with a social conscience. those who aren't brainwashed zionists. those caring, humane, informed jews who understand the history and the zionist program.

you're a disgraceful, poorly informed apologist for the most dangerous country in the world. with no understanding of either the issues or the history. blood on your hands.

now toddle along.

My thought:

Iran’s ballistic missiles were penetrating Israeli missile defences at a greater rate than the U.S./Israel anticipated. Israel was running out of interceptors, and they would have exhausted their batteries whilst Iran would have plenty of missiles in reserve.

It's not just that their Iron Dome was getting penetrated, it is also that the Iron Dome has no answer to what Iran was firing at them.
You won't see pictures in most of the Western media, but other news agencies around the world are showing pictures of the damage in urban areas in places like Tel Aviv.

Israelis would have believed that their Iron Dome/govt would be able to protect them. Turns out, they are sitting ducks.
For that reason, IMO, their will be an exodus from Israel. The Israelis remaining will consist almost entirely of the extremist right wingers.

Trump loves winning.
Netanyahu can't afford to lose.
The cease fire makes no sense, given that they have done nothing to stop Iran from continuing its nuclear program, and in many ways, their attack on Iran has made the Iranians stamp their nuclear program as urgent.

Israel now has no choice but to attack Iran again because the cease fire is making Israel look weak.
By extension it is also making the US look weak.
Trump's on TV saying things like "Iran are so nice, they let us know when they were going to attack our base".
Really?

Watch for the campaign now to smear China and/or Russia as weak.
There will be military "experts" on all kinds of media with all kinds of mental gymnastics trying to paint the US/Israeli backdown as making China/Russia look weak.

Do you hold all people who voted for them responsible for an elected Government's actions?
If you live in a democracy you're responsible for a government's actions whether you voted for them or not. Maybe not if you actively took steps to stop those actions or loudly and publicly repudiated them.

To bad they don’t have the power to stop Israel producing nukes.

USA and Israel do. Iran cannot be trusted with Nukes. That’s agreed upon.
Why is it agreed upon? It's not by me. I'd rather they didn't have nukes because it makes us all less safe. But if they keep getting sanctioned and attacked because they don't have nukes, it would be crazy for them not to get nukes.

Israel and the USA are making us all less safe. Lift the sanctions, resume inspections and reduce nuclear material.

But Israel don't actually care about nukes. They care about ethnically cleansing Palestine and Iran was stopping them doing that.

Any action by Israel can only be made sense of by assuming their main goal is ethnically cleansing Palestine. It's not about hostages. It's not about security. It's about having Palestine as part of Israel but without the Palestinians. They openly say it. Then their actions reflect it.

So do you hold the Gazans who voted for Hamas responsible for their actions?

Why do you keep persisting with this garbage?

Which part of collective punishment is a crime against humanity do you not understand?

I thought you being Jewish would mean that you have a very clear understanding that collective punishment is a crime against humanity?

hard to believe, i know. bibi is such an upright citizen.

Israel is, always has been, and always will be, a terrorist state.
It shouldn't surprise anyone that Israel was planning a terrorist attack.

i think it's both. the zionists have long been about removing the palestinians. the occupation has been going on for decades. and everyone knew about netanyahu. he's been shouting his intentions for years. and those few who feign surprise should be now shouting about the genocide, not excusing it. what is it -the standard you walk past is the standard you accept. but they care about nuclear weapons too. and they'd use them if they felt so inclined.

So do you hold the Gazans who voted for Hamas responsible for their actions?
They don't live in a democracy.

There hasn't been an election in Gaza since 2006 and within a year and half of that election the legitimate president of Palestine dismissed the Hamas led government because Hamas and Fatah went to war (probably because Israel encouraged Hamas.)

Hamas seized power and have ruled Gaza since.

No Palestinians living in Gaza are responsible for the Hamas government in the way people living in Western democracies are for their governments as a result.

Claiming they are is an attempt to put the blame for their own deaths on the civilians Israeli forces murdered since 2007, which is pretty abhorrent behaviour on the face of it.

In 2006, Palestinian self-determination elected a Hamas government.

No Palestinians living in Gaza are responsible for the Hamas government in the way people living in Western democracies are for their governments as a result.

Why the double standard?

Claiming they are is an attempt to put the blame for their own deaths on the civilians Israeli forces murdered since 2007, which is pretty abhorrent behaviour on the face of it.

I never made that claim. That is an absurd thing to believe. I believe in personal accountability. Not Important linked a tweet saying that Trump voters are responsible for his actions. I was showing the ridiculousness of his views.

Why do you keep persisting with this garbage?

Trying to give posters such as yourself an insight into equality.

I dont agree with the statement. If you had the intelligence to understand the question you'd realise that it's what Not Important infers and that ferball does not believe Palestinians have the capability of self determination.
