We're all flogging a dead horse with this but it's getting beyond a joke now. Has any other player in our history been given such obvious preferential treatment in hopes of doing something good?

Rachele had 1 CBA for the game. One.

Murphy is then subbed on in the 3rd quarter and despite being very much a like for like sub, is given 4 CBA's in a quarter and a half.

Edwards can't even get a game, Taylor must be perfect to even get a consideration, Dawson had to beg to get into the midfield, yet Murphy is hand delivered 4 CBAs in 30 minutes of game time.
Tells us all what we already know

I’ll say it again

The man is a genius

Richmond actually played pretty well, they defended hard and played with spirit.
There were a few periods where they threw everything at us but we didn't get rattled and fought through it and regained control. The side has matured really well in that regard. So many losses in recent years were on the back of 5-10 minute slips where we'd give up a run of consecutive goals.

Berry played well, great in the contest and was very clean with ground ball yesterday...
Yeah Berry has won me over. The fumbles haven't been anywhere near as prominent and he always looks to want to run and take the game on. Pretty happy with his progress this year.

Interesting. I thought Richmond were terrible. Couldn't hit a target or string together good passages of play, didn't apply any pressure to our outside run, were awful in marking contests and had basically nothing up forward. The only time they looked competent was the occasional stoppage and were lucky not to lose by 100+

Sure is a complete blind spot.
It's like Murphy is OB1 and PepsiNuts is a Stromtrooper.

Ugly:

The work experience student who translated Nicks' presser: "we were able to write the ship"! Where do they get them from?
Kids these days are basically illiterate. Gen Z and Gen Alpha are the idiocracy generations. They'll be watering crops with Gatorade.

A lot of people are locked onto Tex being 'cooked'. But interestingly Darcy is the KPF who has only kicked 1 goal in 3 weeks, has had less marks and less possessions then Tex.

Im a big Darcy fan, and by no means think Tex is still at his best. But statistically Tex is arguably having a better month.
Tex is still pretty active, but his game sense and disposal efficiency have disappeared. He is making a lot more errors than Fog, who is still putting in big competitive efforts without marking and hitting the goals as much.

Fog hasn’t been the same since his AC

Walker gets a lot more ball directed towards him than Fogarty does, and he wastes most of it.

One of things I loved about Butt's game was the fact that, even after the dog hits, he didn't get sucked in AT ALL. Just played his game, won the contests, and then moved on. He was in Lynch's head with his game, and there was no need to engage at all. Just gets the job done. Brilliant game from Butts.
Just imagine if Keane was on Lynch. They both might've been suspended for 10 weeks

Richmond are bottom 2 but they played to their capacity I thought; tackled well, ran hard, had some good centre clearance work, hit targets in F50 and kicked straight for goal.

It obviously could have been much worse if we kicked straight but they didn't let us murder them like Sydney did. They... tried hard

Yeah fair enough. I guess I don't rate trying hard particularly highly

He looked hindered for the first couple of games back but I think his drop off is more to do with our slow ball movement. Not surprising that our lead up forwards suffered more than Thilthorpe who can still clunk marks in a flooded forward line.

Watching extended highlights: after Max kicked his 3rd (all 3 split the middle, btw) one of the Ch7 commentators noted wryly that
"Michalanney has risen 150 places in the Coleman Medal Ladder ..." :laughv1:.
Dark Horse, storming home ...? :sneaky: (he's 'only' 44 behind Cameron!)
Funny that you mentioned his straight shooting. I was watching him in the warmups when he was working with the forwards and he hit the post twice and missed the rest. Good to get the bad ones out of your system I guess

He is 22 years old. I am sure he can finish a game out. If not then he was too sore to play

Because its Nicks
Not good enough. It's just stubborn willfulness and laziness on some of your parts. You've gotten into such a bad habit of hating on Nicks and our Club in general, that you've forgotten how to enjoy it! Honestly it is just so ****ing depressing coming onto this board AFTER A WIN!
