Asterisk is *other than the sides that get flogged every week and are there for social footy.

I've seen bottom divvy reserves sides been torn to shreds for having a laugh after 20 point losses. Specifically recall blokes being told they have to earn their family and friends' right to join them in the rooms on the field. The standards of behaviour and competitiveness most local footy sides are legitimately higher than ours, and this is coming from someone who hates how ruthless lower level local footy has become.

Formalise a two tier system. Then we'd never be expected to be elite again, instead of being embarrassed by the best teams, we'd only cop 6 goal losses to mediocre ones, and then we'd disappear into irrelevance so far no one would even notice how shit we are.
