I was in the ER last night while my poor old Nan decided to attend her first game in 6 years with some family who are club members. Of course the club would dish that sort of s*** up for her and everyone else. The worst part for me is, I’m not even that emotional about it. I’m used to 6 years of a club that just accepts losing in the most diabolical fashion. There needs to be a serious investigation done at the club by someone from the outside as to why we’ve been where we are the past 25 years.
7 games so far this round, ave.winning margin is 68 points.
I've stated here before about watching us in the 60's & early 70's. Along with Bertie22 and maybe a few others l can categorically state; this is the most " pathetic " North Melbourne team l've ever seen.
What makes me really sad ? Blokes like Schimmelbusch, Greig, Law, Stevens, Archer & Firrito to name a few would never, EVER put in this sort of effort.
We are broken. Harry, Finn, Riley, Colby, George, Will we are wasting your time. Apologies.
If an offer comes, take it. We can watch your talent blossom as it should somewhere else and enjoy it.

Playing players out of position is one of the dumbest ****ing things I can think of. Its deadset destroyed the young players confidence. “Oh we drafted too many half forwards and mids we need to use them elsewhere” .. no! You trade your ****ing stocks like zurhaar, powell, jy and get something ****ing back not keep them all.
Sure, comben has kinda worked but as s forward he would be delisted, Harry works off half back. Its down right incompetence. You have Duursma (people can say what they like about his current form but its a product of our mismanagement) who has the ability to stand on peoples heads, play the campaigner out of the goal square. Banch at his feet. Darling to run up the ground as the CHF. It makes my blood boil.
Powell is one of the shittest 25-30 possession midfielders I have EVER seen, yet we persist with him. Put the campaigner on a flank or **** him off.
The midfield is the same shit week in week out. Parker is 85 years old, he is not able to run in there all ****in game, ******ed.. put Colby or Curtis in there. Do ****ing something campaigner!
Why the **** did Geelong have 2 x loose defenders at all ****ing times in the D 50? WHY FFS? How is Jy not seeing the spare or the loose MEN snd demanding his team play through them?
Logue needs to be paid out, put on a plane and sent back to WA. Daniel needs to be dropped, konstanty needs to be dropped, powell can **** off.

I don't understand the disconnection out there between your players. So often it felt like the guy with the ball had no plan or reliable expectations for where anyone else would be or what they'd be doing.
There's a moment in the 2nd quarter where Miers was given the ball under immediate pressure, so he wheeled around and punched it to an area he knew he'd have team mates waiting. Because that's the game plan and players can rely on those non-negotiables.
It just doesn't feel like North's players have that happening.
It's genuinely bizarre because Clarkos Hawks were game plan-oriented. Every man had clearly defined roles and everyone was on the same wavelength.
I wonder if Clarkson is past it.

Its a combination of many things.
In my view, Clarkson should never have been the mastermind tactician and simply a man manager in the club. In my view, he always needed a mastermind assistant that could forge a game plan and he would be the one to get the best out of the players and fix the culture. I still think this is the case to what has gone on BUT because the system failed to hold up early they have all gone too reactive to plug holes as the season has gone by and this abomination is what you get.
I have my own theories and opinions on the NMFC senior soft cap, I firmly believe we are at least a few hundred K short in this area and are using budget incompetent assistants that have NFI what they are doing (evidence in abundance) to then funnel money into other areas.
Only had a couple of key outs but we are trying to teach players new positions, its ******ed, no other way to describe it. We are nothing short of a rabble.

Positive: at 3/4 time we were in danger of being outscored by the Wallabies down the road at the G. I loved the way the boys responded with a few junk time goals to make sure it didn't happen. Top effort fellas 
I'm not renewing my membership next season, what's the point. Players don't give a shit. So why should I. This club has killed any enjoyment I get from footy nowadays. They don't even show effort. There has been zero standards at this club.

one side of me shares your sentiment, but then i would just be a quitter and a hypocrite for potting said quitters.
but sheesh its getting hard putting your hand into the wallet for this tripe knowing some of the payroll is going to Danials, Log and Brady.

The reason I was him is that when you watch our AFLW team, you can tell they have been drilled how to play as a team, both defensively and in transition.
And the players play hard non-negotiable football for each other.
There are no players wandering around the ground as if it is a social game.
I have followed North through thick and thin over more than 60 years. I have never seen such a weak and insipid performance as that last night. Everything you say above is 100 per cent correct. Getting to the point that members should call for an extraordinary general meeting and demand change or resignations.
