How many direct result from ducking free kicks? Shocking way to play the game

Agree - would like to see that part out of his game.

Still a good player who hits the contest at pace, tackles hard, can take a mark, etc.

Hopefully he follows Ginnivan's lead and gets rid of that part of his game (and adding a more well rounded game), especially given his athleticism is miles above Ginnivan.

the **** are you on about, how many times have the stopped a game for daicos getting cramp or knocked over, at least twice.
You dont watch enough footy.

I have counted 17 times in the last three weeks alone….

Hawks did a lot right , they probably need to have kept one of the interstate games they led at 3/4 time against the top 8 sides imo. Freo, Suns, Crows.

Just that level off top 4 .

Few tweaks to make . But took two sides to make it a decent game.

Don't go the 4 talls again

People criticizing Tex and Rankine earlier in the game must feel foolish.
Genuine matchwinners when it matters.

Both know how to kick crunch goals.

I thought we were pretty good just too many weak links in our team.

Crows a very good team with no real weakness.

Who wants Worpel will give to a good home.
Cats apparently.

Was a good effort but something doesn't seem right.

WIll Day is good but dunno about some of the other mids.

And Day is from SA. Probably wants to play for Crows

Day is Hawthorn through and through.

His granddad was a Premiership player.

Some current small forward goal tallies after 30 games:

  1. N. Watson 43
  2. T. Papley 39
  3. J. Rachele 34
  4. K. Pickett 31
  5. I. Rankine 28
  6. J. Elliott 28
  7. S. Bolton 23
  8. P. Curtis 21
  9. T. Greene 10
Probably a bit early to declare a 20 year old a 'bust'

Most of those players played in some god awful teams in their first 30 games. Nick Watson in his debut season played finals flanked by Dylan Moore and Jack Ginnivan.
