What I found most frustrating was the lack of pressure especially the uncontested marks. They tore us to pieces. 147 uncontested marks to Brisbane to 54 by us. Nearly three times as many. When Hawthorn beat Collingwood last week the uncontested marks were 101-73 in Hawthorn's favour.
When you see an opponent take a simple mark 20 odd metres clear and you can see exactly where the next kick is going, again to an opponent 20 metres in the clear then something is really wrong.
If a team thinks that by running at three quarter pace for three quarters is going to leave you with enough ius reserve to over run the opposition in the last quarter then god help us. What's wrong with playing man on man at certain stages.
