Butler is probably goneWonder what that does for Butler?
Although Ross also did mention playing Higgins in the midfield at times too.
It was tweeted by Tom Morris after he read this board, so it's probably another bullshit tweet. Are has zero credibility.So...have we set aside a list spot for Tex Wanganeen?

Bearing in mind the age factor, or non-factor, and our list profile, do we think Jimmy Webster will retire at the end of this season? Or do we keep him as depth for another year?
Surely if he's stepping down, we'll hear about it this week and he might squeeze in a goodbye game against old foe Toby Green before he heads back to the farm.
Any views?

Reckon GT would be awesome as a head of footy somewhere. Great ability to develop young men as people, not just footballersGT had a lot to do with developing that list.
Jimmy seems like the type of player Ross would loveIf we're loading up for an all out push to make finals next year, I think he gets a new contract. He's still probably our best option for locking down on small forwards.
Don’t think so. We don’t have a lot of decent small defensive forwardsButler is probably gone
I dont think so. In the end, it looks like he knew what his departure would do to St Kilda and didn't want to do that to the people he loves and respects, his teammates and coaches. He's going to be rich regardless.
Usually I’d say he’s 32, he’s done. But that would be contradictory. However, he seems a pretty cruisy guy. He’s got a young family. Wouldn’t surprise me with some injury troubles that he pulls the pin.Bearing in mind the age factor, or non-factor, and our list profile, do we think Jimmy Webster will retire at the end of this season? Yep good postOur forward line isn’t good enough. Can’t see all of King, Marshall, Sharman and Owens playing in the same forward line.
Our small forward stocks are bang average outside of Higgo. Max is a high half forward and will be spending half his time in the midfield and on the wing. Butler only good enough when he is performing really well.
I am not big on the Ryan move specifically but we need better small forwards than we have now.
Don’t mention F/S.Does Jackson Voss stay a Father -Son if not selected at AFL level in his Draft year?
Where is moanman FFS?
Surely he told us about Nas last May or some shiz and wants a victory lap.
He had nothing to do with itI reckon Fly forgot to turn his ban off.
Lyon had good premiership capable lists with Saints and Freo and couldn't win a flag.Sour ole GT cause even Rooney and that don’t mention him
The guy stayed too long in the too job said he was caretaker then wouldn’t relinquish
Lyon flogs him as a coach just a shane we didn’t give Lyon that list …
So, Liam Ryan is averaging 15 matches a season and turning 30 next year. I have to ask, what's the appeal? I haven't watched the Eagles for years, got better things to do. The only things I remember about Ryan is getting suspended and a string of off-field issues.
From the Bassat interview, talking about the infamous Swanky Brighton Dinner disaster that nonplussed the Wanganeen Milera family so:
“We did have a lunch really early in the year at my house with Nas and his family. It was takeaway Japanese in plastic wrappers, I am pretty sure Ross was in sandals and it was very different to what was presented. And I would be surprised if there was any offence to that"
I think Tom Morris has been watching too may Hollywood films! maybe they just weren’t into Ross's skanky sandals or the gyoza were cold?
New St Kilda logo after Bassets comments…. No more nice guys. View attachment 2400539
Weren’t you adamant that this was about money and that Nas wanted to get paid?I think Nas always wanted to stay. Everything dragging out was purely due to his manager chasing more coin. I believe Nas would have signed earlier for less money had it not been for Williams.
He’s an unassuming gun. Can play on bigger or smaller defenders and when he wins the ball he moves it downfield quickly with a long kick. I can see why Ross loves him.Usually I’d say he’s 32, he’s done. But that would be contradictory. However, he seems a pretty cruisy guy. He’s got a young family. Wouldn’t surprise me with some injury troubles that he pulls the pin.
I’d be happy to keep him as depth. If his body is right, he’s still got plenty of value as a hard nosed small defender. Im not sure we have any others except for when stocker goes back there. Saints love a Stevie Baker, Jimmy Webster type down there.
Manage his preseason right and see how he fairs. But the worry is the amount of players we are targetting and bringing in, plus the draft. There’s got to be some retirements, trades and delisting as somewhere. He wouldn’t be the first I’d ask to move on though.
