just been thinking about the commentry from Wright about bringing the supporters engagement with the club to a point where we feel like we have connection.

There was a game last season in brisbane where we saw our northern breathern wearing blues brother outfits. It looked absolutely amazing.

My thought is that the club add that ensemble as part of our membership regalia. Imagine 40,000+ blues brothers and sisters in the crowd. The impact on our players would be immense IMO.

Imagine throwing the gates at Princes Park open again for training sessions for your members and supporters to share and enjoy the experience …

They have come down to Melbourne as well.

Thought you guys might like this, will probably only mean something to ones my age.
I’ll never forget the morning I heard about Mots’ accident, loved watching him play, the saddest football related thing I’ve experienced but it’s always great to see him at Unley.
He’s still a champion.

Michael Voss cracked into number 8 on Lloyd’s best players of the last 25 years

Was too young to see him but gee he has an unreal resume

Hope he gets a flag as our coach

He was a freakshow. Never forget him terrorizing the Pies in the early 2000s, just bullied and belted them into submission.

Wish our current crew could do the same.

Because my birthday is just a few weeks behind his, the guys at my school who were any good at footy (not me) came up against him at the under 18 champs when Tassie (my state) played Queensland.

I’d never heard of Voss before, but the only talk from the boys heading to championships was on how they could stop Voss. I believe they failed miserably.

He was a fantastic player. Probably my favourite non-Carlton player.

They're 'replacing' it with a Sunday night game...to which they already have the rights to broadcast. So why not broadcast both?
I think it's to do with the amount of games split between Fox and 7. You might have the rights to a broadcast slot, but your agreement might be to show 4 games a piece.

Agree - was considered by some pundits the best of our three South Australian recruits of Bradley, Kernahan and Motley.

For a brief moment in time Carlton boasted a half back line of

Peter Motley, Jon Dorotich, Peter Dean

Absolutely impassable. 😞

Of the last 25 years, right up there. Was at uni when he was peak Voss, absolute animal. Chris Judd and Simon Black also right up there from a mids standpoint. But very few I can think of with the physical impose' of Voss.

Juice030103 Yeah i saw that this morning. You got to see the Scotty Burns bump and how hard Vossy was as a player.
Now you should be able to see why us older folks cannot understand why he's not driving that into our team.

We barely fly the flag for one another. And I'm not sure why he doesn't tear players a new one that don't put in the effort.

I know it's different these days and young blokes don't respond well to big sprays, but there comes a time when they need to be told a few hard truths at the least.

We are uncharacteristically "nice". Perhaps the only player with mongrel was sadly sidelined with a knee injury for the season.

That’s just how Michael Voss wished Collingwood players a happy birthday. Like he did here with Alan Richardson.
