"Generally". (In most cases, usually).

So when am I not a "good bloke" - when I disagree with you?

geez you hyper focused on that one didn't you. lol.

No you are a good contributor. Don't have issues discussing stuff with you in here.

only low IQ people think killing people who disagree with you is a joyous thing.

I'm not surprised in the slightest there are people in the big footy SRP form quasi celebrating and joking about this. Have been here far too long.

This whole left v right thing is simply out of control.
"I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.

“That is a prudent deal. It is rational. Nobody talks like this. They live in a complete alternate universe,”

-Charlie Kirk

Charlie seemed to be relatively OK with it.

Kirk had zero issues fueling the culture war, spreading propaganda, radicalising people and profiting from a toxic political culture, consequences of his own actions.

When the blood was gushing out of his neck I do wonder if he felt that "owning the libs" was worth it all in the end.
I guess you could say he died doing what he loved best.

The 2nd amendment doesn't allow you to kill people you disagree with politically, nor it is a given right per what he actually said.

If you are looking for simple irony of guy supporting guns, guy died by a gun, go for it. But its a bit more nuanced than that i believe.

I respectfully disagree.

I think its more nuanced than the simple view that he supported guns, was killed by a gun.

He did not support the 2nd amendment as a means to kill political rivals or people you disagree with.

But i suppose i agree, not worth going into now.

He supported it to the point that he said that school shootings are a necessary evil for the freedoms of Americans. And the RWNJ clapped and cheered him for it.

About 70 people in Gaza got killed today about the same time Charlie was assassinated, most of those are innocent women and children. Nobody cares about those murders.

It's quite possible that Trump and his cohorts will campaign that "the second amendment should only be a righ for conservatives" soon... I can see this happening.

This is disturbing. Whatever your political affiliation, we do not want to see violence as an extension of politics.
Its been going down that path for a while. The divide has been getting bigger.

Hes the victim of the environment thats been created. Some might argue an environment he has helped put more fuel on the fire on.
Killing him just more achieves puts more fuel for that fire.

Just as many see people dying daily on all the news channels

Just because he is Charlie Kirk we shouldnt see it? Imagine if the people in Gaza had the same courtesy , imagine if the Venezualan fisherman were given the same courtesy

TV is to blame not Gough
I don't think anyone's murder should be celebrated.

I would hope that if you saw anyone making light the muder of Gazans or Venezualan's you would call this out, I know I would.

If we had guns in Australia we would 100% have this same type of shit going on. Zero doubt about it.
That is true but the greater point is the reason that we don’t have this type of shit in Australia (well not remotely as much) is because we don’t have easy access to guns in Australia.

4:30 in this video and a couple of other times, it's what he says, it's for "defending yourself" from a tyrannical Government. He also mentions why some deaths are bound to happen from guns and that's ok. I wonder if he'd say the same thing in hindsight. Probably. His death is the price he was willing to pay.
