It was a great shot, right in the neck.

Simplest answer is a crazy/disgruntled person who practiced a lot. But:

• one shot, right in the neck?
• Didn't bother to fire again even though he was still in practically the same position and could have easily fired again, that shows a level of confidence. The Trump shooter fired 8 shots.
• Got away from the scene very clean. Shows a level of planning beyond a crazy person.
• There's no surveillance footage yet? By about now, the Healthcare exec's shooter was all over the news from a pizza restaurant miles away.

If this were a military operation, it would surely be considered well-executed. If it's a single person operating by themselves, it's very very good, maybe unbelievable....

Give it a couple of days, I suppose.

I've never gotten that "God-given" right thing to own guns. What does God have to do with a gun, except to play Him/Her if you're in the mood.
I'm American and know many gun owners, and not one of them have ever said anything connecting God and their weapons.

I actually don't think Charlie is saying that gun ownership is a God-given right. He's saying that the 2nd amendment is in place so people can have guns to protect their other rights (which are - in his eyes - God-given rights).

The shooter will turn out to be another disgruntled right winger. It nearly always is.
