We should have just taken Rankine’s 5 weeks instead of dragging the club through the mud.

As soon as we looked like we could achieve something this year it all blew up.

But how’s that for a coaching class - Smith back to starting, Laird back in the middle. Gunston kicks 5 goals with no attempt to make a change.

2 home finals against 4th and 8th and we never looked like we were in either game.

An implosion only Adelaide could achieve.

Not putting time into other players during the season leads to:

• Playing Laird in the middle in finals
• Playing Smith in the starting team in finals
• Getting smacked in the middle in finals

Then you play Josh as the sub with 8 defenders named and come out with a defensive, slow gameplan.

Funny:
The people who upgraded to Gold late in the year, did you not see how Nicks coached the last 6 years?

• Berry on Newcombe in Q1 (David f’ing King did a whole segment this week on First Crack showing footage of Newcombe torching Berry last time we played the Hawks)
• Rash as sub
• Leaving Keane on Gunston

Nicks is so fn limp

Berry on Newcombe is unforgivable. You get told and too arrogant I guess to listen.

Not sure Rash as sub was an issue. I would've done the same to be honest. Big risk if he goes down early. Yes, risk he goes down late too but I didnt hate seeing that.

I just dont know who else you put on Gunston. Our team defence was putrid and left him with leading lanes everywhere. Keane not helped out at all.
