Hawks impressive tonight, real well balanced and barely any passengers. With their momentum think they're every chance against the cats but will deservedly be fair favourites.

Dawson fairly quiet both games, perhaps carrying something. That dump kick he did early in the game where he could've straightened up for goal was a shocker.

Thought Dawson stood up where others fell by the wayside

Think it will be a 5+ goal win for the Hawks. Not sure Adelaide copes well with pressure, and there's been plenty of it over the last few weeks.

Hawks backline matches up nicely against the Crows forwards, too.

I watched the Hawthorn Adelaide game on replay. And I think Logan could still be effective as a mobile type of forward like Gunston or Cameron.

I watched the Hawthorn Adelaide game on replay. And I think Logan could still be effective as a mobile type of forward like Gunston or Cameron.

We all watched him. We all have our own perceptions of the player he is, or could become, based on what we've seen in '24,... and previous seasons as well.

I believe Logan is neither here nor there. I don't see he has the body develop into a Thilthorpe monster, and I don't think he has the mobility to match the likes of Cameron and Gunston.

That's just my opinion. Do you have one? Would you care to share it on a discussion forum? Or you just want to insert yourself, critiquing posts from people that actually enjoy discussion and sharing opinions?

Thanks Nool , i have shared my thoughts on Logan on many occasions , even confirming that he would re sign.
He is being trained to ping up and down the ground , as he has the tank and ability to do it and that's how he was playing in 24 , even in a VFL game in 25 he did it. If that wasn't noticed by the person i was replying to , it's a heads up. Also are you know a mod , telling me what i can post ?

Yeah. Those bottom three for me change hour to hour.

Pies yuck because history of racism and garbage supporters.
Cats yuck because unlimited salary cap, coach and brownlow favourite are angry bigots.
Hawks incredibly unlikeable, with cheating forwards and mids, angry boy Sicily and "knees up" Sam Mitchell.

Yep. I understand too. I often find it distasteful. But it's part of the joys of being a footy fan. And laughing at players that screwed us gives me happiness.

I will forgive a lot if there’s at least a bit of genuine humour to leaven it, but so much of it is usually witless and cringeworthy, and just screams low self-respect.

I still think there is speculation about what type of player we want to develop Logan into. Whether we should turn him into a defender. Or he looks too skinny and needs to bulk to be a better contested marking target.

I wonder with Cameron's and Gunston's season whether there would be a reappraisal within the club. That Logan can remain a running mobile third tall forward.
