Money, gametime and a longer contract. Why do WCE think they're a chance for him? Would probably rather rot in Hawthorn's twos.
Contract difference is around 1.6 mill so yeahWhy do WCE think they're a chance for him? Would probably rather rot in Hawthorn's twos.
An extra $400 k a year and he's not worth pick 19 in a "crap" draft?Contract difference is around 1.6 mill so yeah

Money, gametime and a longer contract.
Not everyone's as stupid as Dev Robertson.
He would have a similar value to chesser so pick 35 or 41He’s 22 and played an absolutely starring role in a semi-final. WC clearly want him badly. Pick 19 is an appropriate price

Then subbed out the very next game, despite Watson being Mr Invisible. He’s 22 and played an absolutely starring role in a semi-final. WC clearly want him badly. Pick 19 is an appropriate price

Well it’s there….Next up go for the pre season draft option.
PSD threat to the club that holds pick 1 ? Assuming the unlikely event that he does nominate the eagles. You will likely get your second round pick back and the one for chesser.Next up go for the pre season draft option.
And then was subbed out on the weekend, go figure !
Great.West Coast and Hawthorn negotiations:
Hawthorn: He’s 22 and played exceptionally well in finals, including 26 and 2 in the semi. He’s best 22 in a team with strong depth and we expect 10+ years of service out of him
West Coast: But he was subbed out on the weekend!
Great.
He played 2 good games before being subbed out in the third.
Only fans put any weight on finals vs non-finals games.
Recruiters don't.
A player's trade value doesn't go up after doing little for 4 years and playing 2 good finals.Garbage. Fans of teams who dont know what finals are dont value finals.
If you dont think clubs look at players who dont get startled by the bright lights and big crowds...
Great.

It won't affect trade discussions one iota. You couldn’t be more wrong.
Is best on ground in a grand final weighted the same as best on ground in a regular season game?
Even if it WAS just a regular season game, 26 and 2 is no lean feat.
Fair enough if you want to lowball us, but let’s not be silly here.
A young player’s high level performances on the biggest stage won’t affect his trade value? It won't affect trade discussions one iota.

We’re done here
Nope. They'll look over the 4 years he's been on the list.
Trading players isn't the same as day trading.
I simply don't understand how you can seriously think a 2 game stretch over a 4 year career has some kind of bearing on trade value simply because it was in finals, especially when he went missing in the third one and got subbed.Cant decide if trolling or just desperate for any type of win.
You’re not trading for the asset he used to be. You’re trading for the asset he is now. It’s called developmentNope. They'll look over the 4 years he's been on the list.
