Neale did absolutely nothing during the captain’s run, which was interesting. Even Berry was more involved.

Wilmont and W Ashcroft also did zilt. Wouldn’t read too much into anything - Don’t think Daniher did much at the Capts run last year and he did ok. Good to see Eric there with his compression bandage on - smiling and standing in the goal square with a footy. Great turn out by the Lions fans again today.

Geelong comes in with an extra night's rest and we've already gone up n down the coast, flew there early to settle in. Keeping it super relaxed and early to bed tonight might be the best thing to do for the playing squad.

Neale’s inside work and hands would be a lot harder for Mullin to stop. He was impactful for Clug because he could go with him on the outside. Atkins is far superior on the inside than Mullin and will go to Neale(historically has) or maybe WAsh

I can imagine that Lester was stewing after that last game. Wouldn't surprise to see Lester get another shot. Historically a good matchup.
Fagan just has to be a bit quicker on the trigger if Cameron starts getting out of hand. The lesson was learnt because the next game Gardner was moved off King sooner.

Did a bit of scouting on Geelong. They have 11 players who have never played in an AFL grand final before. Pretty significant considering they played in 2022. Hope this gives some confidence, it definitely did when I looked through it.

I love the fact that Geelong touched us up in Qualifying final and we have a point to prove now. All season this squad has risen to the occasion when there is a point to prove and they enter the game as underdogs.

so many sub-plots in this game after what happened in that Qualifying final.

I legit was thinking about that a few times this week. I'm surprised, but that's awesome haha.
