Overreaction I feel after yesterdays second half. I tipped lions ftr and tipped them pre-season. Tipped them last year too before the Sydney game at the GABBA. I reckon they 3 peat but to lose just one game I disagree.

Geelong might fall off the cliff from here. TBH they had a good draw, always dominant at home. Their list like Collingwood is old and how many times have we seen older teams fail at the pointy end.

Geelong made light work into the grand final with a pitiful performance from Adelaide, and beat the Hawks who were out of their depth. The problem is they've got an aging Dangerfield who can't back it up week in week out, Cameron who got shut down, Max Holmes who worked tirelessly all season for zero recognition and Bailey Smith

Aside from that, they've got a list of no namers who just slot in and do their job. That's all good and well for the minor season but come the pointy end of the season it unravels.

Brisbane at their best simply won't get beaten. I think Fremantle could be the side to match Brisbane if they ****ing work out how to unpack their potential.

Lol, pies shouldn't be in the conversation or in the betting.

Went all chips in to flag this year and failed, time for game and player development now, or more accurately continue that development with an eye on the future, not the now, like this year.

Drafting and trading super important now. No more 'top ups' for a tilt - develop the kids and up and comers, hopefully stay mid pack for a few years before the next tilt. Culture not an issue but the list certainly is, to be honest the flag list was no where near the GF opponent that day, probs not even top 4.

System won it that year, similar to the one that looked undefeatable earlier this year, now the top teams have learnt how to out Collingwood Collingwood.

As for the premiers next year, likely Bris and wouldn't be surprised if they played of against GC, hawks, GWS or even cats again.

Cats annoyingly consistently at the pointy end. Don't see it any different next year.

Scuppers my prediction…. At an absolute minimum they need Walsh, Cerra and Cripps at 100%.

Curnow might not go. If he gets to Geelong it’s another trade that keeps Geelong in contention.
