Some intel from a couple of Carlton ITKs claim He was caught trying sell 'the bag' to a couple of other players at IKON Park a cpille of times this year.

He has a lot of talent but alas I fear he is another Laurie Angwin headache.

The fact he is from Adelaide and The Crows who are crying out for an elite skilful midfielder speaks volumes.

I don’t think he is worth the risk for your talented and impressionable young players and list tbh.

He needs a good long stint at rehab and prove he is clean for 12 months (minimum) before he deserves another chance at AFL level imo

I'd actually rather he doesn't do it to himself.

Likely Scenario:

Butters smiling politely as Brady flops onto a cafe chair. All the papers burst out of his overfilled vinyl satchel knocking a full cup of chai on to the table as they do.

Brady straightens up in his seat, licks fingers and smoothes over hair.

Brady "So..Zac.. do YOU want to play in a premiership?"

Zac "Sure but.. hey man are you bleeding?"

Brady "No what hey.." (rubs face and finds up shaving nick, grabs the triplicate blank contract and blots his face)

Brady "So do you?"

Zac "Do I? What?.. Oh premiership, thought you were being ironic. Um (trying to be nice) do you think North is on track?"

Brady "let me tell you.. hang on"

Brasy answers phone - immediately starts an animated conversation waving his hands around and speaking in Spanish

10 minutes later

Zac "Ok mate thanks for the cof.. (remembers he paid for the coffee).. um..catchup"

Brady " So are you going to sign with us?"

Zac "Oh! Um mate, bit to go through with management.. this has been great though yeh"

Brady "Give it to me straight man are you going to 'Join in the Chorus' ?"

Zac (standing up) "Look probably not but hey man, that was a good presentation and.."

Brady (starts crying and slams the table) "Don't just don't.. just go.. I SAID GO!"

Zac leaves cafe avoiding eye contact with other patrons

Thats the thing i was saying with Parker. Swans were playing him as a forward and mostly pinch hitting in the center due to his obvious drop off in pace/ impact. That could still work for some teams of course, but he plays more like a med forward of which we have a glut of.
I dont want to knock the guy too much though. He had a pretty solid year and thought he got better as the year progressed. Didn't cost us much either.
But yeah if he's moving ouut of the mid its needs to VFL unless Wardlaw is unavailable.

Duursma has had chances but has not earned more.

Surely earning enough not to be dealing at the club. Id take that with a grain of salt.

Id be for it at the right price if he interviews well. Its obviously last chance for him.

The way I see it ts best to break the competition into 2 brackets

. the 11 good teams
. the bottom 7 teams (us, Rich, Carl, WC, Melb, *, PA)

We will end up playing 14 games against the good teams and 9 against the bottom teams.

I will put us down for 7-8 wins against the bottom 7 and 0-1 win against the good sides.

7-8 wins will have us at your 12-14th position. 12th would be effectively the best of the worst teams.
