Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

Seems to me an ideal first receiver. We're clearly not looking for a contested pig as tenacity in guys like Garcis and Windy can make up for it. It's a big nugget to give up a p7 so they'd better be right.

Maybe we agreed to pay TDK 1.7m (to get him without using draft picks) and the brothers have agreed some of Tom’s wage goes to Sam if he comes.

I think pick 7 is slightly overs (I think we should get a 3rd round pick back) however I think there's stuff we don't know about which may compromise this trade from occurring if we don't get it done early with a straight swap. I would (as a layman) think we could get more out of a 3 way swap between us, Melb, GC involving Petracca but there's a reason for the straight swap which we will probably find out in due course.

The Flanders deal may not be the final act between the 2 clubs..got a feeling GC may pay slight overs for Butler

Man we had some promising players really fizzle out badly over the last 15 years.

Like really quality 22 year olds that just forgot how to play footy by 26. I've never seen anything like it.
