I doubt it. Doesn't have the power through his legs any more. This year, even at VFL, he struggled to get the ball away and went to ground way too much.

Maybe a WCE. Young list which needs teaching and good example. He will provide that to youngsters and show them what work needs to be done to make it. He could play a role if he regains a bit more in 2026. He was elite. WA grounds maybe don't suit.

I think the opposite. A team like WCE would be a long way below salary cap, but would still want to maximise their footy department spend on s&c and coaching. So you'd probably be better off having his wage go into the salary cap than the soft cap. It's what Port did when they first hired Goldsack - drafted him as a player to use him as a coach.

I have no idea, i wonder would he be good as a midfield coach. Understand being good at something doesnt make you good at teaching something

I heard John Longmire say that if there was one footy left in all the world, Tom Mitchell would find it - well done Tom on your short but awesomely impactful time at the Pies. You delivered in spades when it mattered most and will forever stand with the immortals who have been a part of a Collingwood flag - sometimes the good guys do win.

Will never forget the shutdown of Neale in gf23 and desperation in dying minutes
Neale took him to the cleaners about 6 weeks before the grand final at Marvel but Tommy the professional he was ,did his homework thoroughly to turn the tables on nearly their most important player in GF23 ..
