What makes them terrorists?
I thought they were drug runners? Now terrorists? Post keeps moving I cannot keep up.

If Drug runners are bad. Maybe MP can explain his thoughts on Trump pardoning drug dealers and child abusers? So allegedly smuggling by boat is bad, but being a major player in the trade gets you a presidential pardon?

If terrorism is bad. What is his thoughts on Trump hosting a guy who beheaded people?

How do you know there was no corroborating evidence?
Again this is just guesswork.
Sorry, no corroborating evidence ever made public. Which brings us to...

You actually believe anything this admin say at this point? Serious question.
Would appreciate a response, mate.

No - thats just what you think happened.

Shooting injured people is not illegal if they still pose a risk.

No boat.
No drugs

But still a threat?
They are in international waters ffs.

The reason they are changing their story is because it is illegal!

Standard Trumpy behaviour. Hegseth gave a general order, but it was the Admiral alone who decided to blow up survivors who obviously posed no risk to America, floating on a pile of debris clinging for their lives.

Now, the Admiral has to keep quiet and everyone thinks he's a murderer, or speak out and be fired. This is what following illegal orders will get you. And it's why the Trump admin pressures people so much to follow illegal orders. As soon as you follow the illegal order, they can pin it all on you. You're the one pulling the trigger and you'd be the one having to convince a jury that you obeyed an illegal order, but it was your bosses fault. Good luck proving it.
If it could be proved or not depends on if Hegseth was stupid enough to give the order in writing, recorded message or in front of witnesses. Is he stupid enough to do that? I think he is.

They're fishermen running blow for pocket money, so low on the ladder as to make they're deaths nothing but macho posturing. Bin Laden they f***ing ain't.
Yep, its coke or weed, not fentanyl as Trump and his goons keep pretending. Its also not going to the US.

You are projecting again.

The Department of Defense’s Law of War Manual (2023) emphasises the obligation, giving, as a paradigmatic example, an order to kill shipwrecked persons.

18.3.2.1 Clearly Illegal Orders to Commit Law of War Violations.
The requirement to refuse to comply with orders to commit law of war violations applies to orders to perform conduct that is clearly illegal or orders that the subordinate knows, in fact, are illegal. For example, orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.

Common Article 3 of the Geneva Convention binds the US. It prohibits ‘violence of life and person, in particular murder of all kinds .. of .. persons taking no active part in hostilities.’

So hypothetically, if a person on a ship wreck is pointing a bazooka at you then you cannot defend yourself?

I wish you people would wait for facts instead of reading something on Reddit or from some loser on X and then jumping to usually incorrect conclusions.

Sitting at just under $20 billion annually, Australia's Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme is one of the biggest and fastest growing costs in the Federal Government's Health budget.

It's the most comprehensive pharmaceutical cost subsidy scheme anywhere in the world and a lot of that money is spent to subsidise the cost of US licensed pharmaceuticals.

Overnight a deal was struck between to US and UK Governments for the UK National Health Service to pay 25% more for US sourced 'innovative' drugs as part of a tariff deal that will add will cost the NHS an estimated additional £3bn a year.

Bet your bottom dollar Australia's PBS scheme is in the White House sights for a similar “Trump Takedown” and the impact on the Federal budget, not to mention those needing financial help to pay for cutting edge drugs to treat various cancers and chronic health conditions, will be immense.

Hopefully the rare earths deal gives us some leverage

It will.

Until big Pharma ups its cash donations to Trump inc on the proviso he prosecutes their case against Australia's PBS.

Specifically the US mega Pharma companies like Johnson & Johnson, Merck and Pfizer want to stop the PBS tendering process which lowers the overall cost of the scheme to taxpayers and provides access to cheaper generic alternatives. And they will bribe Trump to up the general tariff rate as a threat to get it.

We've still got more than three years of this goon in the White House and he has a long history of reneging on deals he made just days earlier. And, as we know the whole idea of a universal subsidised health care scheme on any scale is akin to communism in the eyes of the billionaire racketeers like Trump and his mates.

Can you honestly not see what is happening MPMonkeys

We're talking about a bloke who assures us with a straight face he hasn't seen any slanderous posted about Obama or Hilary on this site, and that Trump's urging of Republicans to support the Epstein vote wasn't a flip flop.

We'd be amazed at all the things he can't (won't) see I'm sure :tearsofjoy:

Good on you for posting a link that this guy still retains a designation as "Specially Designated Global Terrorist" (to be clear I am talking about the terrorist on the right).

Is it that you cannot read or that you cannot comprehend? Or is it that you genuinely do not consider pointing a bazooka at someone an act of hostility?

Its a random persons opinion and like nearly everything predicted about Trump will most probably be wrong.
Eh?

Predictions on Trump's authoritarian fashy 2nd admin have proven absolutely correct, they didn't go far enough if anything.

You're in orbit, mate :drunk:

Its a random persons opinion and like nearly everything predicted about Trump will most probably be wrong. Then they will move on to the next insane conspiracy theory like nothing has ever happened.
You need to change your username from MPMonkeys.

Straw Man would be a more apt moniker to adopt for yourself.

MPMonkeys must hate getting assigned the BigFooty dayshift

I hear they are trialling a new bot WeightOfTheWorld to take his place while MP is off to the salt mines

You've just made this whole thing up based on your imagination. How do you know they were 'floating on a pile of debris clinging for their lives.'?

And you have no idea if the order was illegal. You think it 'may' be illegal but you have no real evidence for that. Then you extrapolate all that into the Admiral being forced to keep quiet (how?), murder charges, juries and what not.

Its all just hyperbolic projection.
Your need for evidence is so pathetically one-way.

As an aside, a judge and jury heard evidence and decided, on the balance of probabilities, Donald Trump r*ped E. Jean Carroll. Do you accept that evidence about your hero?
