"The Climate Solutions Fund will be available for numerous uses ranging from paying farmers to revegetate degraded land and drought-proof their farms, to subsidising small businesses to install energy efficiency lighting and equipment."

Call Kiwi Barnaby is probably your best option - good luck :thumbsu:

Paywalled but I get the gist of it.
I don't get this stuff at all. Paying a farmer to revegetate degraded land that farmer degraded in the first place?
Why are we rewarding poor farming practices?
How do you drought proof anything? That's also bullshit.
btw, f*** Barnaby.

And dressing it up as some sort of environmental policy. Morrison is a fraud.

On the fact he hasn't been able to do anything or pass any legislation. Abbott and Turnbull did lots of horrible things.
How is that grounds for him being "better" or "more moderate"?

Surely the inability to achieve anything marks him down, not up?

I personally think Scott Morrison has been the best and most moderate of all the 3 lib PM's. It's amazing what the noose of an upcoming election and 60 consecutive poll losses can do for you
I still cannot even think of Morrison as a nation's leader.

Relief Teacher is as far as I can take it.

His captains pick of intervening to go against the choice of the local liberals and make them have Craig Kelly up for election again is looking like another absolute blunder by the dumbest person to ever have the job of PM

Cabinet minister Steve Ciobo to quit at the election, Chris Pyne could go too
Confidence in the Morrison government's election chances faces a fresh blow with Cabinet minister Steve Ciobo expected to announce he is quitting politics.
There is also speculation that Defence Minister Christopher Pyne will announce that he, too, is going. Like Mr Ciobo, he would not return calls.
Mr Ciobo was formerly the trade minister but was relegated to Defence Industry for his role in backing Peter Dutton against Malcolm Turnbull in last year's leadership spill.

He entered Parliament in 2001 and holds the safe seat of Moncrieff, centred around Queensland's Gold Coast.

Mr Ciobo has refused repeated requests from The Australian Financial Review over the past 24 hours to clarify whether he is recontesting his seat. It is understood Prime Minister Scott Morrison has urged Mr Ciobo to delay any decision until the weekend to minimise its news impact.

Great to hear Pyne is joining Bishop on the way out and Turnbull on the sidelines.

For some reason, totally unconnected to these announcements, I'm expecting the amount of Liberal leaks to left-wing outlets like Fairfax to almost come to a stop now, lol.

Leaking to Fairfax was THE biggest destabiliser when Abbott was PM.

Yes, it's the left wing Libs that is causing friction within the Liberal Party.

Erm...did you miss the fact right-wing Tony got elected in 2013, and we had massive internal leaks and cabinet leaks for ages leading up to Turnbull's coup in 2015?

How could it be anything but the left-wing that caused that instability lol. Or are you telling me Tony's right-wing mates in the Libs were leaking Cabinet details to Fairfax?

Not spinning at all. Simply telling you I'm very happy that little gossip-mongerers with their favourites in the Press Gallery (ie Pyne, Bishop and Turnbull) are on their way out.

Had to read it twice as first time, I giggled and thought you meant to write The Australian or Daily Telegraph but then seeing the last sentence, I couldn't stop laughing.

From Nikki Savva's book it's clear Bishop despised Credlin.

All the Credlin gossip/nonsense we had for years is due to Bishop not liking Credlin.
Wasn't just bishop who had issues with her.
The entire party told tony either she goes or he goes.
tony chose pete and the rest is hilarious history.

**** what a great day that was.
