JLT 17 was important.
They started to implement the new strategies in the match versus the Crows.
Luke Beveridge said the 2015 pre-season match, when they thrashed Collingwood, was important for Doggie tactics.

I dont think u understood my post, we played a certain way in 2017 nab cup "pressure and harass the ball carrier" which carried on into the real season. Whether we won or lost was irrelevant considering how 2016 finished. The fans saw the change in game plan and Richmond were reborn.

Now that 2nd half was more like it, the Richmond we know. We are a pressure based team thats our mantra, we are not the most skillful so we need to keep the pressure acts up. As a side note in the last 4 weeks of 2017 our pressure dropped to 175 lowest of all the finalist.

So what i was altering to in that first half was our lack of intent and pressure.

rewatch our 2017 nab cup, we were shit. we didn't play with pressure or anything. we were pure trash but we just practiced a few gameplans like we did today

Whose home venue was that? 80% of the support was for Richmond.
We have more supporters in Tasmania than Hawf and Norf put together.

Just watched the replay...

That 2nd quarter was a shocker obviously. The kicking! wow! Shizen.
Short needs to burn those boots. Same with Houli.

I always like to look at the fringe players in these games....

Weller - looked OK at times without being great. I'm not as bullish as others. Can't question his effort. Looks like he's not much chop in the air, which is a slight concern as we have plenty of those forwards.

Markov - like that he takes on the game but needs to learn to kill the ball at times.

Menadue - not a defenders arseh*le IMO. If he plays at all it can't be in defence.

Soldo - hope Nank plays every round plus finals.

Graham isn't a fringe player - but man does he look keen. Gonna be a big year for Jack by the looks of it.

Very positive about the Tigers.
It could be our year.
Humble and modest, our team could achieve success.

Markov is a very long kick

which is good given he is fastish and offers good rebound

The way we played today is not enough for Collingwood in Round 2. We need to play more like we did against Melbourne (bar the first quarter) to beat them.

pies are shit and haveinjuries, as long as we don't have gastro round 2 we'll win easy. We've flogged them for years and our list is the only one that has improved out of the 2

Finally. About time we won another premiership.
