How bloody good is JACK ROSS
I know! The kid had 25 disposals at 88% disposal efficiency, which is amazing.

Now I want to see Ross do that alongside Cotchin, Prestia, Caddy, Martin and Graham all in the one side. Our midfield’s outlook is brighter with this performance in my opinion. Really rose to the occasion.

Hope Collier-Dawkins does the same in the next couple of years.

I think with the 4 day break coming up after the Sydney game we won't make too many changes.

Martin for Castagna
Or
Martin for Graham

That should be the only change and we will than have the ability to make 2 to 3 changes for the Melbourne game based on form or Injuries.
Having a fresh Riewoldt and Houli for Melbourne will be more beneficial. Here's hoping Cotch gets up as well.

There will be certain players who just aren't fit enough and even if they have good games next week some of the younger players just won't be able to go around with such a short turn around.
Tend to agree.Dusty the only change.
Hold Houli,Jack & Cotch back for the Melb game.
Dimma mentioned the 4 day break so it's clearly on our minds.

Stack looks like he can be even better in the middle or wing maybe too ...

Yeah he really does. Bolton is also a sneaky chance to have stunts in the midfield if his tank increases because the kid is really talented. So many positives from yesterday that this surely is one of our better home and away wins in a long time

Finally watched the replay. Phwoar.

Last quarter. We struggled at stages to get out of the D50. Grimes made a few booboo but made it up with his intercepts.

Sydney Stack in incredibly promising. Composed and silky. Most impressed with him.

Lynch. Absolute beast. Very impressive player. Earned his keep in every single way. He makes everything look so easy and he plays up the ground as well. Surprises to see him sometime in the D50.

Kmac. Like Jekyll and Hyde. Don't know which one will turn up each quarter. His 4th quarter goal was immense.

Caddy. He makes our team better. His strut and his amazing goal kicking skill. Such a good player.

The Port crowd when SS made that terrible mistake at the end. My god they're a feral bunch.

I am surprised Nanker didn’t poll higher.
Beat 2 quality ruckman,One being the reigning premiership ruckman i might add.
Nank is still our most important player.

All in all a great win even though we tried so hard to hand it to them and they were so crap they couldn't take it. Macca what was he thinking 2 goals given to them in a minute when we were 15 points up and flying. Balta was really good in the ruck I thought better than Nank and must stay in the side as our back up ruck and seemed to go on for 4 quarters unlike his first couple games and with fitness and experience will be a star.
Better than Nank?:drunk:

I ******* love this guy. He’s like our spiritual leader in hardness.

Sent from my iPad using righteous Bhodi manpower
Cats could do with a bloke like that.:D

Hard to know who to drop but none of Ross, Stack & Bolton can be. They have to be locks.

Martin in for Menadue is probably the only change depending on matchups. George was bad for a half but his tackles and pressure were good.

Keep Houli fresh for the short break leading into Anzac Eve. Then Jack comes in along with Houli as well.

Gonna be interesting in the coming weeks. There will be lots of changes after the Sydney game considering we play on the hard Marvel surface then have to front up the next Wednesday. 4 days later. Lots of sore players.

I'd be telling Menadue he's not playing against Sydney but he is against Melbourne.

Guys be honest...... who has to eat there own shit tonight?

Not me.

Absolutely rapt with the win but was not surprised at all. Honestly, this place is starting to look like a bipolar disorder clinic and seems to reflect the views of some of the reactionary fools in the media.

I'll say it again: we are one of the best few teams in the league and the season is long. I mean seriously, people writing off our season three games in?

If only...
prestia cleaned up his disposal he’d be a potent weapon. Does the guy have it in him or is what we see what we get? I gave him the benefit of the doubt last couple of years due to his poor fitness base.

Just flicked over to see my first bit of the show and there was a dwarf straddling a chick on a bed.
I’m out.

No issue with Baker but we have excess small fwds. I thought Menas did a bit and we still have to think about midfield depth. If Kmac hadn't heve kicked that late goal I'd be asking for him to go to the VFL.
Your kidding with Macca? Sure he had a bad few minutes but he's been great this year.

I’d almost be willing to argue that’s our best win under dimma. There have been some obviously more important ones, but to travel to Adelaide, in poor form, with 4 of our absolute elite out, and roll with the punches all night before eventually coming out on top, that’s something. That sort of win can spark a season.

Should put to bed the notion that we lost 'all our depth' in the off-season with Ellis, Miles and Lloyd all leaving. In reality the only one there that would have played is Lloyd and even then we are better served giving the likes of Ross a crack at it.
