I always laugh when Godbotherers stand by their Bible when it comes to homosexuality, yet ignore the passages about cutting your hair and not growing a beard, having tattoos, esting pork, ability to own slaves and stoning as a punishment for petty theft.

If the book was written in this day an age it would be crucified as a self help book. Which is all it really is.

I include non-verbal forms of expression in my use of the word “express”, such that depriving one’s children of potentially life-saving medicine, and detracting from the herd immunity of the community would be considered an expression of one’s dumb **** anti-vaxxer views.

Having said that, if someone wants to believe in the flying spaghetti monster in the privacy of their own home, then that’s their business. Everyone believing it’s their “God”-given right to rain down on someone because their beliefs are unpalatable, in a futile attempt to convince them of their position, simply breeds more hate and resentment, perpetuating the cycle.

In the past few weeks we’ve had Brunei announcing it’s now law for homosexuality to be punished by death. We’ve had schools in the UK having to shut down LGBT awareness programs because of religious objection.

What have we heard here? Nothing, zip, nada. Too hard. That’s because it’s Muslims.

Some Christian sportsman goes on social media saying homosexuals are sinners - suddenly we have to hound him out of the country.
