I didn’t see On the Couch but Robbo gave it to us, claimed ours was the worst performance for the year.
On the Couch was very good. Worth a watch if you get a chance.

Carlton were worse on the weekend, but we were as bad as I've ever seen us.

Yeah, I missed it live and watched a replay. Shocked and amazed by the lack of passion and the deplorable skills on display from both sides. It was as boring as bat shit to watch.

Nah, I've seen worse. The Mother's Day Massacre against Melbourne in 2011, and a bit later in the year against St Kilda were woeful.

Probably the worst performance I've seen from a side that on paper appears capable of more.

Good, he should apply the blowtorch all week, because the pathetic SA media won't!

We are the most disappointing team this season.

But we all know Carlton are perennially shyte... except a few delusionals.

Most independent judges had the Crows bouncing back not crashing this seaso.

The two worst games I've seen us play are against St Kilda in 2011, which was Craig's last game, and the game against Fremantle last year at Optus.
There was an early Hawks game at Footy Park where most of the crowd left at half time as were down by about 100 points. Platten kicked a bag... perhaps his biggest ever.

1994 - we failed to score in the first and third quarters

Yeah, I stayed for the 3rd quarter & left them early for the 1st ever time, because if the players didn't care, why should I stick around to put up with it.

Port copped a bit on Footy Classified last night. They looked back at Koch's and Hinkley's comments after Round 1 - patting themselves on the back for their trade decisions, calling it their best ever win etc

1994 I reckon, I was there that day too

We seem to get a lot of press when we’re bad and none when we’re good...

Why is that?

Its an interesting point you raised. We were the most dominant team in the H&A season in 2017 and I dont recall any of the major AFL shows focusing on how strong we had become.

Fast forward to 2019 and we are 1 and 3 and we dominated the AFL shows on Monday in a negative manner. Ironically the team that is 3 from their past 36 was applauded for their progress.

This is music to my ears when you consider how Port has been pampered, pumped up, and petted by the media these past few years. Since the 2014 false dawn in fact. The fawning has been unwarranted, and Whateley on 360 was the biggest banner waver. It was stomach turning.

My guess is the main audience of the main TV/Radio shows and newspapers are Melbourne centric (or eastern seaboard) so we're an interstate team and they don't really like us/care about us. We we do well, it's not what they want to see/hear about, when we're doing badly then they can take some satisfaction. Don't think it's really that hard to figure it out.

we got lavished with praise in 2017, and copped it deservedly since grand final day for the cluster**** that has happened since.

hell, most pundits would still think our best is top notch, but we are a long way off, therefore copping it.

I don't know that's completely right. I recall much decent comment and analysis on us then, particularly from On The Couch. Kingy seemed to enjoy explaining our forward-entry running patterns ad infinitum, including visual examples. Our forward line was monotonously described as the best in the competition, and we are now paying for this.

Let's face it, you get what you deserve, for the most part.
