Seemed to lose the desire to move the ball forward in that quarter. A lot players seemed to second guess themselves.

Feel like it’s been the same all match. Just a few like Baker who are doing it all themselves, but there are a lot of others out there that have no confidence in their own ability or know the gameplan well enough to execute properly

Good challenge this, need to come out and assert some dominance and take this away from them.

Hasn't had much of it, but I've liked Dewar's defensive pressure. Much improved from early games.

We looked good while Port were butchering every 2nd possession. Not so great once they sharpened up.

that’s what pressure does. Unfortunately it takes a lot of petrol tickets to sustain.

Basically the story of our year. In a lot of games by bringing the heat and rushing the oppos possessions but then absolutely burnt in a quarter when the tide turns.

Had to start slightly delayed so just got to half time.

Huge half of footy, and how pleasing that they’re showing signs of being able to possess the footy and just have a breath. The core will be go-go-go, but we can’t do that for two hours so really really impressive the way they worked the footy when it was on offer.

HEdwards immense, growing before our eyes. Brockman great. Harley needs to take a breath but is trying to drag the midfield into relevance. Clay Hall with the kick of his lifetime and has played very well, get a big dog up ya HoneyBadger.

Bazzo looks scared in possession but very committed out of possession, so that’ll come as he picks the speed back up. Flynn good.

Just really bloody pleased. Would be a huge tick if we could put some real pressure on and head into 3QT with a lead.

Hopefully a refresh and refocus and come out with a big 3rd.

Harley Reid - 1 goal, 16 disposals, 4 Tackles, 3 Clearances, 4 Score Involvements had been huge.
Just needs to tidy up his Disposal Efficiency a bit though.

Tom McCarthy - His kicking is just so good. Bites off the dangerous ones but they never miss. Set and forget.

Champion - only 5 touches but everything he does has been gold. LOADS of unrewarded running. Loving his work rate.

Concerned Hall looks a step off the pace at the CBD if he doesn't get possession he has no speed to chase and harass.

Overall though very happy with that first half.
