That's true but our 3 possibly in the 20s plus one of their own and pick 10 this year and most likely pick eight or ten next year you start to bundle some of that into earlier picks and there is light at the end of the tunnel for Carlton.I'm betting Wells and Mackie would work magic with a hand like that in their position.
Unless he has asked to be traded NOWAY.As much as I don’t like the idea, it looks as if trading a player (maybe SDK) and getting a first rounder back is probably the only way.

And still my favourites:You mean the ITK posters who claimed Marshall deal is already done
ITK posters who claim it will involve a player
Just curious, because to me.
That only proves one thing and it’s they’re NITK
Not In The Know
Well your a bloke in the knowI said a week or so ago that people thought this was easier said than done.
It’s always going to be a deal down to the wire and wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he doesn’t come
who will we go after if we can't get Marshall
As much as I don’t like the idea, it looks as if trading a player (maybe SDK) and getting a first rounder back is probably the only way.
I'd pass on Marshall in that case. Don't want to trade Sam De Koning, and if that means grabbing someone cheap like Goldy or Teakle to paper over the cracks until Conway and Edwards come good, then so be it.
To ask the obvious question: would SDK actually want to go? I mean, brotherly love and all that, but...As much as I don’t like the idea, it looks as if trading a player (maybe SDK) and getting a first rounder back is probably the only way.
I'm with you. It reeks of a Casemeiro signing for United just after the peak of his powers, playing really well the first year and then lumping the club with a monolith of a contract for the next few years (in Geelong's case a mix of decent contract and no draft picks)I so hope so.
I just can't imagine a world where we give up three first round picks to get Curnow. Sure, he will probably go and kick 50 in his first year if he gets here. But for Cameron who was filling a real need and is a freak, we got two picks back and had the other first rounders from other trades and the Ablett compo.
It's fecking insane. Unless we have a bunch of pick 60s Humphries lined up over the next two years, its just too much.
Except it says they're not trading future picks, so that would mean no future picks coming back if SDK went to St KildaAs much as I don’t like the idea, it looks as if trading a player (maybe SDK) and getting a first rounder back is probably the only way.
Geez i wish people here weren't so judgemental.Don't bring your political opinions into it. Geez, are you saying right-wing supporters don't t criticise Geelong because they just laud hard work!
When you think it through it actually isn't that bad of cost
Our 1st round draft pick this year going to be around 20.
2027 future picks are devalued by around 30% from a DVI perspective by the creation of Tasmania.
Only our 2026 is a clean pick
I'd still have a crack at Mason Cox one year contract with no center bounce he wins 90 percent of center throw ups is aggressive at ground ball more than handy get out target down the line in the air and handy drifting forward, just have to pray he'd look better in the blue and white hoops. There's no point getting Goldy or Teakle. There's no conceivable situation where they get a game for us. We'd ruck Neale or SDK or Blicavs as our number 1 before either of them.
This is like when Collingwood kept bleating about a future 1st for henry so we traded away the fr2 to lock the fr1 and then said this is what we are offering take it or leave it.
Offering these picks to Carlton is sending the same message to St kilda as we sent to Collingwood. It's classic Mackie.
Sure, but Cameron was out of contract.I so hope so.

... no he doesn't? If he were that effective, they'd ruck him full-time.I'd still have a crack at Mason Cox one year contract with no center bounce he wins 90 percent of center throw ups
Conway highly unlikely. Edwards more than a year or two off in bulk/size and experience. So where does that leave it. Need more than one year that Goldy would provideI'd pass on Marshall in that case. The small amount of info I get I have posted on here and got laughed at by certain individuals.Well your a bloke in the knowwho will we go after if we can't get Marshall

It's not about his ability - we all see that - it's about the fragility of his body.I'm more optimistic about Toby Conway. He's looked good when he's actually been able to get on the park, even at AFL level.
