I like these 2 teams nice fans in the afl i find and best behaved as well.
But leaning to Freo here by a couple of goals.

Dees were exciting to watch on the weekend, and to be honest so were the Dockers early on before they got overrun.

Freo can’t afford to be dropping games like this at home, reckon they’ll prevail by 4-5 goals

As a Melbourne supporter I'm very ok with this outcome.

The Dockers are going to be very good this year, but i think Steven King has rejuvenated a team that was stagnating for a few years and even though they lost some A grade players, Melbourne looks to be more competitive than they've been for a few seasons. It took guts to clear those players out and virtually start again! They might lose a few games by big margins, but i'd be surprised if this week will be one of them.

I disagree, beating The Cats on their home deck is never easy, Freo had their first game of the season and simply ran out of legs. Sure, they blew a decent lead but signs are very good. definately not embarrassing to lose by only 10 points.

Wonder what the AFL/fox sports will do with the giants game running way long and will sell and truly over lap with the Dees game, due to lightning in the Giants game.
