Dawson is no where near AFL ready.
Whitlock is playing as a forward in the VFL... and is also not ready. Certainly isn't a better option than Trembath/Larkey/Darling at this stage.

no pressure on 3 kids who have played a total of about 30 games. One of them hasn't played in 2 yearsBackline is still a major issue.
Dawson, Goater and Hardeman need to get going quick.
I reckon we can beat Sydney. Time will tell.
Last win over a finals team was Tiges in 2022. This team has to grow a pair at some stage.I agree. We are well overdue a surprise win. Do the players believe they can win? That's my biggest concern.
I had to leave 10 minutes before the end for my own safety and the safety of othersCommiseration to all attendees today. But you knew what you signed up for. Do yourselves a favour and don't start anything on the way out.
probably the most disappointing quarter of football by North that it has been my misfortune to witness (and I’ve seen some pretty bad quarters of footy)
Also, to be honest, if we’re depending on Jackson Archer, we’re lost, aren’t we?TBF, I think it's obvious that Jackson Archer was the plan.
Just had horrible injury luck.

I’ve tried really hard to get onboard the ‘we’re heading in the right direction train’ but now I just don’t know. An awful awful display. Who do we blame? I’m going with the cattle, too many have been on the list for too long now without turning the corner. Just cull cull cull at the end of the season and go into serious debt to buy the best free agent talent that we can get.
I’m honestly at the lowest level I’ve ever been with this club and don’t know if I can bring myself to watch another match let alone attend in person![]()
The glass is broken. Swept up, repaired and broken again.
Logue is abysmal and has killed us all year.
Seriously, Logue, Corr and, yes, , Pink are nowhere near AFL ready either.Dawson is no where near AFL ready.

I agree with you overall. However, I don’t think Corr, Logue and McDonald were our problem today.Good post. TBH I could see a world where Zurhaar and Powell are still around when we're contending. They aren't elite, but they're ok in that "best 20-25 players on the list" zone. They just need specific limited roles and we need to be prepared to drop them when they don't meet those standards. Obviously that isn't happening atm.
I even think Daniel could be there when we contend too, if he was playing a role more like Gryan Miers, Murphy Reid or Ginnivan. The problem as far as I can see is that its just not sustainable to play him primarily as a defender, imo.
Sounds naive after a 49 pt belting, but I would go so far as to say if we could sort out upgrades on McDonald, Corr and Logue, we could be in the mix as soon as next year.

Fair enough. There were quite a few problems today, and bit-by-bit each problem multiplied each other's significance.I agree with you overall. However, I don’t think Corr, Logue and McDonald were our problem today.
Blamires kept Dempsey out of the game, aside from one mark and goal.Powell, Dovaston, Spargo and Blamires weren’t good enough for us today, unfortunately.
