Like a broken clock...Fixed it mate. Can't believe how right Danster was...
Yikes. An athletic specimen with not an iota of forward craft, a decent but undersized ruck and a poor overhead mark with hands like cement. Has there ever been a worse list management decision in recent times? Freo lose Lobb, Acres and Logue who while no world beaters all solid citizens in a finals team with good future prospects. All for a bloke that played 5 minutes of good football in a grand final with two of the best midfielders of this generation probably making him look a bit better than he was.
The draft picks they gave up for him... Last year's pick 13 and this year's first and second which could end up being a top 7-8 and sub 30 pick this year if Freo continue to stink it up. On top of that has a contract rivalling Brodie Grundy despite being a quarter of the player Grundy once was.
I simply cannot remember a worse trade in recent times... Bowes you could argue that Gold Coast simply needed to do it and had a surplus of picks regardless of how ridiculous it seemed. Maybe Gibbs? That may have turned out, but Adelaide went and blew up their list by going on their looneyville camp which meant the Gibbs acquisition was basically useless and hamstrung their future because of it.
For a club that hasn't been able to snatch a premiership since their inception could this set them back another decade?
Discuss.

That's theReminiscent of Dean Cox at the moment. Essentially the only ruckman who can play as another midfielder + forward.
Xerri can't go forward like this and neither can Gawn.
Arguably the most valuable player for Freo right now. A premiership is there for the taking if he can remain at this level all year.

Horrific take.

That's Walshy for you. Has the worst takes on bigfooty.Yikes.
I can't imagine what would possess someone to write something so inane and stupid.
Probably would avoid the hot takes for a long time mate, it isn't working for you.
Depending almost solely on whether Sean Darcy plays
Only one man can stuff this up for Freo now
Sad thing is it would be lucky to be in his top 20 worst takes. The OP on this thread needs to be in the bigfooty hall of fame.
Horrific take.
Jackson was already playing like this with Darcy in the team. And he was already our #1 ruck, with Darcy spending 50% of gametime on the bench each week (which is a luxury you can afford with the extra bench spot).
I think Jackson will always work best in tandem with another specialist ruck, whoever that may be. Cox did a power of work in the ruck tonight to keep Jackson fresh for his last qtr match-winning burst.
You're not going to get the best out of Jackson by grinding him into the ground with 90% ruck time and only the occasional chop out by a part-timer. He's a weapon you want to keep fresh to use his strengths in the game winning moments.
What was it.... 3 pies players making a combined Collingwood/Blues team in 2025?Sad thing is it would be lucky to be in his top 20 worst takes.
bad tattoo's aside...HE IS THE TERMINATOR- What a superstar he has become!
A generous comparison, NicNat was too powerful so the Gods cursed him with injuries.10 tackles and that smother. Love a ruckman who can follow up at ground level, reminds me of the NicNat days.
Look I'm not saying he's NicNat level yet because no one taps the ball and hunts at ground level like NN did.A generous comparison, NicNat was too powerful so the Gods cursed him with injuries.
Still, it appears Jackson is getting there. MF looks like a Maurice Sendak monster but plays like a star.
