Assume it refers to Melbourne scoring 1 more point to beat Collingwood, rather than the draw. Or maybe 1 point to draw when they lost by 1 first time around.Don't you mean 2?

I'd rather the flag.
Meh... How about we just win the flag instead.

I must be counting something wrong (or wikipedia is wrong), but where are people getting this figure of 17 from?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AFL_Minor_Premiers
According to that, we have 13 minor premierships, 6 behind Collingwood on 18, while Carlton and Essendon both have 17.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McClelland_Trophy
According to the McClelland Trophy list, we have 9 of those, equal with Essendon.
Where does 17 come into it?

We will play em in a prelim final. Would much rather that then the Saints in a prelim
Agree 100% with this - tough one ( obviously) against the Saints but a win sets it up perfectly for us.This. Would rather not face the saints/pies in a sudden death final.
Our current draw is the perfect draw for us in my opinion. A win Fri night propels us to a prelim with only Doggies, Syd or Carlton in our way of a 4th consecutive GF. Assuming the Pies beat Doggies of course.
