Any updates on Gus injury and form wise ? Is he a chance at all at sub in the foreseeable future ?
Missed a match last weekend with concussion, but played well at the weekend in the VFL & was the leading ball winner on the ground.

If Warner happened to miss & Parker cops weeks - you’d expect he’d be next in.

He’s just had a rotten run with injury & our team is just so hard to break into at the moment.

He's out injured in the vfl again.
Hopefully it's not serious, but he looked like he was in real pain. Tried to reach for it about four times and each time fell back in agony.

Walked off on it which is promising at least.

He is our most hyped non player since Daniel Currie , poor kid

-Hope he gets right soon, but people are putting massive wraps on him

No idea how serious the most recent injury is but it could be a blessing in disguise if Sheldrick’s frustrating narrative this season is based on a series of personal setbacks rather than a lack of opportunity that prevents him from breaking into the senior side.

If it was the latter you could easily see him requesting a trade at the end of the year but hopefully if Gus is even half the competitor we think he is then the most recent setback won’t perturb him from cementing his spot in the team.
