Have you looked at how many first round draft picks are “working on deficiencies” in the 2’s? And all bar one has been on our list for 3 years or more. Criminal recruitment or development or, most likely, both.....

Mate, under Bard you work on deficiencies in the magoos until any sign of offensive minded football has been quelled.

Transformation is complete once you hit the seniors with NFI where to go or what to do with or without ball in hand.

I'm far from a Jy hater, but Cunnington as a youngster was frequently going back and notching up 30-40 disposals in the VFL. Correct me if I'm wrong but had Jy done that?
I missed this earlier but I don't think he's played any VFL. So no he hasn't done it but I guess he gets his chance this weekend.

Hope he can make it as a mid long-term but this omission from the seniors has been a long time coming.

Too slight. Not good enough endurance to make up for his build.

Good month in the VFL working to utilise what he currently has to become an AFL standard player. Make it through the year and then go again hard at pre-season to get himself up to strength.
