2 Women Murdered In Car In Sydney

That poor kid who witnessed the shooting will be mentally scarred for life. Terrible for the innocent hairdressers family too.

It seems the older lady was targeted and that she was well known to police. Not nice for her loved ones. Let’s hope there is no retaliatory contract.

It's a really shocking turn when a woman who it appears is only known for her associations can be gunned down in a car full of people, including children the shooter probably didn't even know and killing someone else who wasn't a target.

If the information is right that Fadlallah was giving information to the NSW Crime Commission, it's even worse. With all the gossip in the press that she was 'involved' in crime but to this point, the only conviction found is an .05, we're being thrown off what the real issue was and why she was killed.

It might seem more likely she was silenced for speaking to the cops.

These coked up killers now seemed to have a crossed a dangerous line, like the Moran hit in front of kids this is just shocking, murdering 2 people, 1 innocent it seems, in front of a 16 yr old girl, she will be scared for life.
I find it hard to believe they couldn’t have found a chance to find this lady alone at some point, Sydney is out of control.

Totally unacceptable. Whether the target has a lengthy rap sheet or not. Worse though when innocents are killed or witnesses are forced to live with what they have seen for the rest of their lives.

I hope we don’t see an escalation to these brutal and unnecessary public murders.

Maybe they did so by choice? It may send a message to others associated with her.

They would have got it loud and clear too if the message is not to talk to the police. The fallout is massive, it will reverberate across the state and impact broadly not confined to how crime gangs operate but policing just got a lot harder.

The cops will have to jump all over them and hard. It's going to be brutal.

Question has to be asked how did they find out she was talking?

This might be why we're being snowed under with a blizzard of what looks like gossip to me but which gives the police time to try and work it all out/how to handle it. IF it's true she's been giving information to the NSWCC.

Four men walked up to the car and told a teenage girl to wind down her window, before one pushed her head out of the way and pumped 15 bullets into the backseat, killing the two women.

With four involved, you might think the police would have an arrest quite quickly but if they don't, these four at least, know the value of and are very disciplined in not talking about it. One slip in a conversation that might be overheard or a loose text message and they're done.

The police aren't doing very well solving gang murders in Sydney and are out in defence. Commissioner Webb said she didn't believe there was a perception that police had lost control of the streets, where underworld feuds were spilling over and bodies are piling up.

The MO of these assassins does make it hard. Honestly don't think they will solve half of these. The Mick Hawi case set a bit of a precedent imo.

If I was to take a guess and given the NSWCC has a mention, I'd say this has something to do with her leaving a steady job at the hire car firm which was recently taken over by an NRMA affilliated company.

The former proprietors (organised crime?) may have been laundering money for example through that company where she was a manager so she could have information the police want, she's cooperated and that's why she was killed.

That's my read on it atm anyway.

A car hire company is great to move drugs interstate too. If you have an insider who can conceal the drugs in the hire car somewhere and they know where the car is going. Eg. pick up car in Darwin & dropping off at Alice Springs noted on the booking, nice way to move drugs around the country using unsuspecting tourists. How often do hire cars get pulled over and searched for drugs / drug detector dogs doing a sniff test? Almost never one would imagine unless the tourist is acting Barney bananas.

I supposed the blatantly public murder of a supposed informer gives everyone else plenty of reasons to keep their lips shut tight.

The Mum of the murdered alleged gangster victim is understandably shocked and distraught. She hopes the cowardly killers meet the same fate as her daughter rather than seeing their day in a court of law.

Mumsy might have more chance of finding out who's responsible than the police at this stage.

And there it is.

A bit more detail (alleged) today in the 'telegraph' from un-named 'underworld' sources, which might or might not be true.

'Sydney mum Lametta Fadlallah’s Revesby shooting death would have been ‘a $500k hit’

Underworld sources believe whoever took out the hit on slain mum Lametta Fadlallah last week had a grudge to bear and $500k to spare.

“Just look at it, there is no way this is over money,” one source said.
“It was pretty graphic to tap the window and then to look them in the eyes ... and that poor girl (in the front seat), she will never recover.
“That is why (it’s because) she was a snitch.”
'Several underworld sources believe that Ms Fadlallah was forced into speaking to authorities in a bid to protect a loved one – and then paid for it with her life.'
