Atley > Curnow
Jolly > Warnock

Atley > curnow
Hibberd > Libba

Im leaning towards option 2

definitely option 2. libba will cut sick on gold coast this week. so start him as well. even over swallow.

My thought process all week:

Uh...Curnow.

No idea why I did it, but you've really just got to flip a coin in this situation. We really can't tell who will be the better choice at this stage. Hopefully (for me) Libba's a sub and I can trade Bewick (if he doesn't lift his game) for him.

Going to trade in Tapscott. Just undecided on who to trade out of Prestia or Matera. Anybody have any thoughts on both players scoring potential and job security?? Which had the better pre season etc...

Would much rather decide after both had played a couple of games but don't want to miss out on Tapscotts price rise....

Who for Curnow? Conca or Bewick?

With trading out Conca, I get an extra 50k right away. However with trading out Bewick, I get an extra bench player for next week's multi-bye (Libba + Montagna will miss for me next week, so I need at least 2 bench players) which means I won't be relying on Conca and Irons both holding their spot; no extra cash for this trade however.

Surely you have someone else to trade out before Swallow?

Swallow scored 70 in his first game without doing much at all. He will easily improve on that.

In 5 weeks time Curnow may well be out of the team and Swallow will be ripping out 90-100's.

A quick read of the Brisbane board would of told people he was playing practice matches in the Lions reserves. Not sure why people would of had him from the start.

Early days mate you can't win em all. I chose to bring Libba in this week instead of Curnow. Time will tell whether it was the right call.

Went with Curnow in SC and got Libba in DT. After last night I am obviously less worried in regard to Curnow's JS. He looks like he should hold his spot for most of the season, great in tight and knows how to find space.

Libba will tear it this afternoon I imagine so I doubt it matters who you chose in the end. Both should cash up quickly.

I have made some stupid decisions so far this season and had some bad luck.

Last week I traded Selwood for Dal Santo last minute after thinking about it at the pub on Friday after a few pints after work. I thought it was a great idea as I needed to do it in order to win my Bigfooty Div 1 match as I had already lost my first game. So I ran back to the office and logged onto my work PC to make the trade. Alcohol and me trading = DISASTER everytime.

Well my work PC froze up with a couple of minutes to go while I had clicked on trade Selwood for Dal Santo and because Selwood was on the bench Dal Santo went on the bench after the trade and I couldn't get him on the ground in time for Conka. Ended up losing my Bigfooty Div 1 game by 5 points and am now 0-2. FFS.

This week I traded out spud Atley for Curnow and Bewick for Libba and had Curnow and Libba starting in my midfield all day Friday along with Swan, Judd, Dal Santo and Harris.

Got spooked from all the talk that Curnow wouldn't do well against the Pies and wanted to play Otten, Lower as B6 and B7 plus Heppell (switched him from backline to midfield for Curnow)

Curnow goes on and get 92 while you watch one of Otten, Lower and Heppell spud it up now. I also had Duigan as an emergency with his 85.

At least I have Curnow as an emergency. LOL!

Ranked 15,000 odd overall at the moment while my mate in his 2nd year is 800th. He went with Swan and Pendles and Franklin and Rioli in his team which was the cardinal sin around here yet everyone that has gone with 2 players from the same team on each line is killing it.

Things can only get better from here I hope. I have a good team but just hasn't done as well as I hoped so far. If I had my time again I would have taken Rioli instead of Franklin, ROK instead of Goodes, Darling instead of Richardson and I had Enright and Newman in and out of my team in the pre season too. Never considered Pendles though as I have Super Swan.
